that's the "swell", they're about to pack on some weight. means about two weeks left
That was roughly what I was guessing, glad you have confirmed my thoughts. I might be getting slightly more experienced at this growing lark at long last!
She is an 11 week strain according to dutch passion, and i was guessing i would have to go more like 12-13 before she even broke ground, and tomorrow she will be at 10 weeks exactly, so another fortnight or more sounds about right.
Obviously i will cut when ready, not to a set date, but it’s good to have a rough idea.

Day 75

Weather is cooler now, so temps inside the garage are in the mid to high 20's now during daylight. Buds still bulking up, they feel firmer than the Blue Dream'matic do, but she is a smaller plant overall. Neighbours are away during what will be week 12, (about another week and a half) so I will very probably chop then if all goes well. If they need longer then I will wait, but trimming in a garage gets very smelly!
She is on the right on the group shot.

Looking good!.I'm on day about day 72 .I think I will run it another week or 2 as white hairs started near the end.Foolproof strain to grow.I just let her do her thing. Will post pics tonight.
Mine is still kicking out new white hairs on day 79. I have a feeling they are one of those that keeps throwing out white ones until you chop them.
Saying that I am still giving mine another week or so!

Day 82 - Chopped.

So just shy of 12 weeks, after having a good look all over both the plants I am growing in the comparative I decided to chop. Both were looking as though they were going downhill. Both had sugar leaves with a lot of amber, calyxes were cloudy with ambers, and it was an ideal day for me to stink up the garage as both neighbours were out.

Buds were a lot firmer than the Blue Dream'matic but didn't have as many. She was still throwing out small white hairs at the tops of the colas, but I think she would have done until she died.

I had very little to trim leaf wise off both plants, I took the big fans off but pretty much left the sugar leaves alone. I left a lot of stalk and hopefully this will help take a few more days in the drying stage. Garage is between 17C - 21C at moment so nowhere near as hot as it has been. Rh is about 40.

Ended up with 287g wet. More than the Blue Dream'matic so the buds are definitely denser. Pretty happy with that considering they were not fed for the first 6 weeks due to me being in hospital, then growing in 30C+ (86F+) temps due to the UK having it's annual 3 weeks of summer.

Tried taking a pic through my loupe but couldn't hold the phone steady enough and it looked like I was zooming towards them at light speed lol. I put one on but I might have to get some sort of tripod for future pics.

i think i screwed up this first run, i transplanted them, and they didn't like it, and i amended the soil i transplanted them into, very lightly, and they didn't like that either. now i'm getting kind of loose bud development, and a constant calcium deficiency. but i'm not blaming the plant, i'm sure it's my fault for stressing them at a bad time (not that there's a good time for autos to get stressed).
hoping she packs on some weight during the swell. smells awesomely skunky.
i started two more in their final pots, no amendments, just going to feed very lightly when they look like they need it, keep the N down to a minimum

After just over 1 week hanging and 3 days in brown bags I have ended up with 76g dry weight from her.

The buds have dried similar to how they were growing, less of them but denser than the Blue Dream'matic. They smell great already when I open the jars to burp them.

I didn't go mad trimming. I got a bit of popcorn and trim so have thrown it into a container along with what I got from the Blue Dream'matic and will use it all to make edibles. Got a recipe for no cook coconut truffles I use, that I will try and post one day in the edibles section of the forum.

I am happy with the result - to say they were not fed until well after the stretch stage (due to me being hospitalized), and were only under household led bulbs, I ended up with a total of 140g dry buds from both plants, plus about 30g popcorn / trim from both plants. That is .93gpw for the buds, with a total grow cost of less than £40 of electric, soil etc.

A massive thank you to @Jack Vault for letting us all take part in the comparative.
