this was the republican's election to win, and they lost. they lost BAD.

they will really need to reinvent themselves.

I think Romney was a good candidate at a bad time. Ryan, on the other hand, amazing VP pick, he just aligned himself with some people who didn't help him out...

They can start by discontinuing their disenfranchisement of young libertarians who so passionately flooded their party during the primaries. Another big help would to pick up and run with marijuana legalization.

The problem is republicans are to stubborn to "re-invent", they are going to go extinct. In 8 years there will be no more republican party, which means there will be no need for democratic party as well, we are about to come to a point where we all just vote. Whats the point in two different parties anyway when we all end up with the same president.

or we will change from a 2 party dictatorship to a 1 party dictatorship.
