I've seen your Malana bomb grow brother amazing grow and was pretty tall but why your other autoflowers were dwarfs
It's was not my grow, it's was grown under greenhouse by other guy & posted in his own fourum.
Some times climate and genetics play a role in the growth pattern of a plant. Both sucked me badly I think.
This dwarf plant happens to me only with autos but the photoperiod strains do well outdoor.
I try growing different breeder each time to find out which Auto grows well in outdoor southindian weather. I still doubt the yield and potency of autos since there is lot of ruderalis in it.
I'm leaning towards photo strains this season.Got some good collection of feminised seeds.Gona start Girl Scout Cookies fem today.IMG_0047.JPG

Bro even I want to try photoperiod strains because the yield is good and one to two plants is enough for a year but with autos it's not possible and amazing collection of seeds brother and are you planning to grow outdoor ?

Day 14 for white lsd auto, growing slowly but surely. This is my first time growing auto, so feels weird that the plant is so short, it is hardly 3-4 inches and has three sets of leaves, very tight inter-node space compared to earlier land-race seeds that I had grown.

Hoping this one doesn't turn out to be a dud

awsd-wk2.jpg

There is tiny new leaves coming up at all nodes and the embryonic leaves have turned yellow so it is in full blown vegetation, but still seems like a very tiny plant.

@indysouthsativa bro what is the approximate height of your autos when switching to flowering?

@Indiangrow Dude, nothing to worry about with your plant, as indy said its just due to stress and further growth should be health
Cheers!

Before commenting on the yield i wana warn you about the potency of the autos. Smoked two different strains of autos this week none gave a proper hit like the landrace sativa. There is no head rush and this shit is full of body buzz and even though there is bit of head high in sour diesel but din stay for long.Cant say mush before i properly cure both autos.Might be the genetics this time. Will come up with a proper review after finishing my gorilla glue and moby dick autos.
I dont wana disappoint you both since you are growing your first auto strains. Finish your harvest and let me know.

And yes im gona do the photo strains outdoor and im always an outdoor farmer:bigjoint:.Never tried indoor:mrgreen:.

Happy growing guysbongsmilie

Good harvest Man
Did you check for the trichomes before harvest !!! Seeds ?
I had to cut her down due to neighbours complaining ,still not fully mature but will definitely make some good edibles .This was a bagseed that I grew, this time gonna grow good genetics outdoor can anyone suggest me some good outdoor strain that is highly resistant to molds and pest and have a quick flowering time .

Congrats mate! Although buds look bit underdeveloped, its always smart to not let neighbors and LE anywhere near your grow, you did the right thing by taking it down. I suppose you will be drying it indoors, away from public eyes. :blsmoke:

Week 3 Update: White LSD auto

Growing steadily, this one's definitely a dwarf auto-flower. Pictures do better justice than words.

I'm hoping it will get bigger before kicking into flowering mode, which should be in the next 2 weeks ideally. :weed:

Hows your Durban poison coming along @Indiangrow ?

Your lsd looks healthy I'm surprised she she is growing so fast ,I think indica strain are mostly dwarfs why don't you try some sativa autoflower next time .My Durban poison is growing well now after providing her with more CFL.But her stem is too thin and the cotyledons are dying and have a brown spot on the cotyledon nodes but she's growing well .1529916749753268230311.jpg 1529916749753268230311.jpg 15299169729451154839623.jpg

Yeah dude, rate of growth has gone up in last 1-2 days. I let the soil dry out pretty much to drought condition, then did proper watering with some run-off. The plant really seemed to like it. :bigjoint:

You are right, Since I have never grown an indica strain before this was something I learned, my earlier Sativa plant which I had to destroy due to mite infestation was almost 4 feet tall and still vegging, would have been a monster if it made to budding. I have some Indica dominant strains in the stash (Aurora Indica feminized and Super skunk), will grow in winter. I really want to grow multiple plants at a time, but have very limited space. Max is 2 at a time.

Looks good, she has come a long way from having damaged cotyledons, also don't worry about the stem, it will remain thin till you get to proper vegetative stage, which should be another 8-10 days give or take.

Bro to prevent mites and other pest infestation you should try spraying garlic water and should treat the soil once a week with garlic water, it really works and doesn't harm the plant , google for more information btw bro autoflowers are really hard to master it's not easy to grow I was thinking autos are easy but even a micro mistake can affect the yield. Can you please look closely to the image and say me what's that brown spot on my stem.

Yes spider-mites are absolutely the worst enemy you want your plants to be dealing with, They should not be a problem this time around, as my grow is exclusively indoors. One mistake newbie growers make is they keep taking their indoor plants and leave them outdoors in the sun. Trust me this is not a great idea, and you can risk infecting your grow space with pests/diseases from outside.

But as a precaution, I will spray a mix of chilli-garlic extract as you have suggested. Also routine inspection of leaves underside helps catch those buggers in early stages. So I am being careful.

After growing photo-period strains, I feel that Autos are fairly low maintenance, its a great feeling not being bothered with light/dark schedule and keeping the plant height in check which one has to do with regular strains.

But I agree that if you mess up with your auto-flowers, total yield will be severely affected as unlike regular plants, autos do not have the time to 'recover' from mal-nutrition/overfeeding/Ph problems, etc

As a guy who only wants to grow only for keeping personal stash, and not having to rely on outside sources with shitty stuff. I am quite happy growing autos, and plan to mostly try various strains that I can grow round the year. Hoping to get some strain recommendations from @indysouthsativa for my next order.

Can you please look closely to the image and say me what's that brown spot on my stem.
Doesn't look like any serious issue the brown spots could be due to stress or mishandling the seedling, my best guesses.

Apart from that the stem looks a bit stretched, I suggest move your CFL a bit closer, about 3-4 inches. How far are the lights positioned?

If you keep on growing autos with time you'll be a master.:leaf: bro I've placed the light 5 inch above the plant.

If the spots happen on the leaves then you have worry about NPK deficiency, nothing to worry now.
But her stem is too thin and the cotyledons are dying and have a brown spot on the cotyledon nodes but she's growing well .
Cotyledon leaves do die when the plants have more set of true leaves and starts getting energy from them. The stem will get thicken eventually after the next node. Everything looks good and try to keep her green.:weed:

Thanks for the reply bro i was really worried. Btw is it possible to grow without any nutes.

Yes spider mites can ruin some shit..just had to deal with it on one of my young ones.used diatomaceous earth and dusted the under side of the whole thing.all is good now but keeping an extremely close eye on things..

Just when I started to feel, things are going too well, my plant is afflicted by nute burn, not some small spot here and there. But a full blown nute-burn on every leaf.

I think the chicken-manure and light npk feeding that I did last week, has bit me in the ass and messed up the plant's growth. I don't think its going to survive. Leaves are all curled, browned and the newer ones are looking yellowish. Not encouraging at all

Feels terrible, but I guess, another lesson learnt the hard way.
