Get yer spurs on cowboy, that sativa will blow up like the Death star in the stretch. Have you a plan to corral that monster? scrog net or trellis? I have my fingers crossed for you that it is a heifer and not a bull.

Since it was a freebie seed I have no idea what strain it is, just that it's a Sativa from the structure. It has been manifolded so my thoughts were if necessary just build a frame around it and tie stuff down. I had thought about a SCROG net too but not sure if it's just better to leave her as is and tie her down when necessary. I can't believe I'm actually worried about running out of space with just two plants in that tent lol. I think in the future with a proper net one of these could fill that entire space and might be worth a try if one of the clones makes it though.

I am, as always, open for suggestions......

Thanks guys I am shocked at the difference in growth from one day to the next. The only change being the UV bulb that was added.......?

Question: If I switch my veg tent to 20/4 for the auto in it, will that hurt the clones and the new seedlings? VS running the light 24 hours on as I have been for the clones to harden up?
Hey Evil, looking good in there. No issues changing light schedules in veg unless you go below 16/8. I flip different rooms around regularly depending on what I'm trying to do (speed-up/slow-down) with no issues.

Ok cool. Thanks. I need to slow down the veg tent so I can get everything I can out of the flower tent lol. Appreciate the response.

Ok today's update is really just me asking about the Sativa, not going to bore everyone with the rest of the daily details. Please guys keep in mind this is my first grow and I have tried very hard to look stuff up before asking questions etc. The leaves are not necessarily "curling" up but like folding is this normal? They're getting a slight gloss to them too? Maybe the UV light just doing it's thing?

Basically does anything look off with the Sativa?

Plant is looking like a beast though standing at 32" tall to the highest bud sight forming, this height is just the plant no bucket etc.

Can't forget about the Northern Lights:

I will have a look thanks. Temps are mid 80's
A little high for veg but mostly it looks overwatered. I've been wondering if the SIPs could be an issue with overwatering, that is the most likely issue. Otherwise it looks alright, colouring is good

That Sativa is in a SIP inside a tent that is in its fifth day of 12/12. Next to it is a Northern Lights in a SIP inside the same tent in it's fifth day of 12/12.

Since we are reviewing the underlying structure -- is there a 1" air gap between the top of the water in the res and the bottom of the pot with soil?

I see your plants trying to hide from your strong lights, my sour diesel did that on the last grow, your sip is fine

I raised the lights today and turned off the UV to give it a rest. I just thought the UV would be able to go full light cycle......makes sense though as the NL is further away and not suffering as bad.........

Wonder if I need to turn the light down from full blast to veg only mode lol........?

Bro your running some 3590's that are driven harder the the DIY guys run them, ( nothing wrong with that), but the addition of the UV may be why the plant is now curling away from the light power, its the begining of light burn I say begining because the leafs first defense is the curling,, before real damage is done,,
my guess,, and its just a guess,, is the cobs are so powerful that the idea of adding even more light sent the light power over the edge,, thats just how good the cobs are with growing dope
