As you can see in the first pic, I switched the placement of the plants around. Since the Sativa is bigger it made more sense to me to give her the left side with more free space, as where she was at she was next to the other bucket that the fan controller and air pump sit on. The NL on the same side as said bucket still has plenty of room due to be smaller. I also placed the circulating fan in between both plants facing up and cranked the fan controller a little higher today.

Here's pics of the flower tent:

Pics tomorrow but some changes were made today.

I moved the cloner out of the small tent and brought the Incredible bulk Auto inside with the Dark Devil and AK 47 auto's. I switched the veg tent light to 20/4 to speed this plant up. I need to harvest her ASAP. The weather is getting bad with the rain and I could not afford to let her go.

I tossed two of the clones and put two in solo cups that had roots. We will see if they make it. Tomorrow I will be bringing the 2x4 in from the garage it's just not going to work for flower in there with the heat.

I will be adding a third tent soon as well........

The first two plants in flower will remain and finish but there are some changes coming this way............ need to adjust some things I am not happy with.........

Cheers!

Sunsytems 315w LEC and a 3x3 tent en route
At this rate you will be living in a tent in your garden and only go inside your house to shower, make potty and water your plants.

Looking forward to seeing photos of your latest addition when you get it set up. Are you happy with your SIPs thus far?

Cheers,
Will

Yes I am VERY happy with my SIP's, I will just let everyone know that if you want to be away for more than a couple of days build one with a larger res than the 5 gallon setup provides. But "for me" right now the SIP's are working. I am not sure yet what medium and nutes to run for the 3x3, but I am thinking it's time to try pure coco or tupur with Jacks 321 or Canna nutes.

As for the tents lol, this was the compromise with the old lady two more tents or a build out of a room. This will be the second extra tent. I will be able to compare first hand for myself how the LEC compares to the COB's.

I am not happy with the heat issues thus far, so hopefully getting this 2x4 inside from the garage will help.

the small 20"x36" for veg right now seems like a waste to have the light that I do in there because I can't blast it on full and run the UV bulb, so it's like I paid for the HP but can't use it, seems silly. not sure if I will replace this with a 4 bulb T5 setup going forward, I am back to the drawing board here almost.

BUT- The current flowering in the 2x4 will finish as is with the T4-1750.

I am starting to see the complaints folks have made about the loud fans etc, I think the drivers in the tent is not helping. When the lights are running hot (as they are for me) the fans just blast all the time......on the T4 it's louder obviously because there's more fans.

BUT- the light itself is doing good on the plants no complaints on that aspect. I just don't have the harmony I am looking for right now in my environments. I know it takes time and tweaking it's just frustrating when there is so much $$ involved and shit still ain't going the way you'd like.....

On the downside my 2x4 tent ripped in three corners today getting in the house, that's what I get for being lazy and not taking it apart (which I ended up having to do anyways). I will tape it up and get it going again but this frustrates me to no end brand new tent with three holes all the same but separate corners.

So who knows maybe another 3x3 instead of this torn up 2x4 I am just all over right now and need to finish getting this 2x4 setup again inside waiting on the gorilla tape to arrive to finish.

Been a frustrating day today to say the least with health and the tent move with it ripping etc.

Thanks to the wife for her help, we got the 2x4 up and running again indoors. Right off the bat temps are 77 and humidity is 62% and I haven't tweaked the fan controller yet for the exhaust. This is a stark temp change from the garage lol............in a much better way.

Hopefully the part of the day under the garage lights didn't screw up my light cycle or doesn't stress the plants too much.

I'm honestly one more hiccup away from trashing both of these plants and continuing with the autos and veg the Barney's seedlings.......

Anyhow here's a pic of the tent up and running I routed a few cables differently and routed the exhaust from the fan up to the top instead of out the side. Still have the passive intake open on the left side. We will see how this change works out. Now I can focus on getting the room ready for the 3x3 and the 315w LEC :blsmoke:

One of my reflector adapters is cracked so the reflector is not on straight, but hopefully soon the replacement arrives and I can remedy that.

I still don't understand how this tent with the T4 full blast runs cooler than the 2x3 with the T2-2100 on veg mode only..........

You're doing a grand job Mate. If things went perfect all the time it would be boring. Glad that moving the tent inside had a positive result for you. Shame about the rips. Duct tape will always set the world to right. It is my go to tool for all my hiccups. I snapped a main stem the other day being careless, bit of duct tape and she is good as new now. If we send a manned mission to mars without duct tape the likelihood of success would be diminished by half.
I have no experience with 315w LEC fixtures so I will be learning as you grow.

Cheers,
Will

She (the wife) brought me black gorilla tape and luckily the 4 rips were on the bottom of the tent. So we taped them down inside and out and then there's the floor insert on top of it issue resolved for now. I have no exp with the LEC either but it has peaked my interest since I stumbled across them, and I want to know first hand how they compare. There is no arguing the proof from other members on the colors of the plants and the feedback on the terpines etc. So I will soon be able to know for myself. Then I can decide if COB's still have a place in my life right now lol. I don't care about always having the latest and greatest I just want things dialed in, simple, and most of all producing results. And of course like everyone else, what's the best weed I can grow for the least amount of $$ tied up. But hey isn't that the ongoing battle here. Either way, when everything I have popped right now harvest I paid for my entire setup and then some, but now I will be free of the street dealers and prices, etc. This is for medicine for me and its my hobby right now and all I have to entertain aside from my wonderful kids :bigjoint:

So stay tuned. I think when the new tent and the CMH arrives the three autos will go in there to flower and after both flower tents flower we can throw the barneys plants in one and start getting serious about growing and pop some seeds that I REALLY want to grow form what I have in my stash. I did not want to pop the good stuff until I had some practice.

I'm narrowed down to pop a pack of one of three things next, a strain from Ocean Grown, From Big Worm, or from Bob.......... and believe it or not Bob and Worm are competing for who's first..........

Flower Tent: Day 10
Incredible Bulk: Day 32
Dark Devil: Day 18
AK 47: Day 9
Seedlings: Day 9

Small update today. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. The girls in the flower tent are VERY happy inside now with the lower temps especially at night with lights out.

Here's the flower tent:

IMG_20160522_110234.jpg

The NL plant looks like it's recovering nicely, did some minor defoliation yesterday on her:

IMG_20160522_110245.jpg

The crazy ass Sativa is there, looks to me like a crazy woman with crazy hair, I'm really starting to doubt what this plant is going to do but I guess we shall see Just looks like it's all over on the canopy:

IMG_20160522_110258.jpg

And the Veg/Auto tent, the seedlings/clones in the cups on the left, the Incredible bulk in the middle, and the Dark Devil on the right this tent has been running fine on a 20/4 schedule with the UV bulb on raised to the top of the tent without issue thus far:

IMG-20160522-WA0003.jpg

Anxiously awaiting the new tent and light. I'm pretty set on finishing the autos under the CMH when it arrives we shall see.

Thanks for checking in
Cheers :peace:

Lots of work in the outside garden today in small bursts as heat was bad and health still acting up. I almost passed out from heat exhaustion lol....my auto immune disease and the heat don't get along too well. Anyhow did some minor defoliating on the Sativa tonight before lights out, got pretty much all the burnt fan leaves off, and hopefully she likes that and bounces back now. The NL plant seems to be doing just fine.

I noticed some tiny brown spots on some of the leaves of my Incredible Bulk auto, can anyone chime in on what this might be?

Morning update from the garden:

Flower Tent, had to raise the light and it's now as high as I can go so we will see how much more the Sativa stretches lol:

NL:

The Sativa:

IMG_20160523_093636.jpg

The veg tent, Incredible bulk in the middle, the Dark Devil on the right, and the babies/clones on the left in the solo cups. The (2) clones of the crazy Sativa are taking well now the new growth is coming out green and they have perked straight up. Can't complain about my freebie Barney's seeds so far either, very strong genetics with fast and aggressive growth, they're just 10 days from when they first sprouted:

Got a Quantum Bad Boy T5 4ft 8 bulb light fixture en route. Also ordered various agromax bulbs for it and will toss my Pure UV bulb from agromax in there with it. Anxious to see this on and working. Thanks to a gift card I still had for amazon from my B-day the light cost me $80 out of pocket and the bulbs were like $80 for all of them shipped lol.

I had a couple of folks ask me what bulbs I am going to run in the T5 when it comes in, so here's the list:

(2) Bloom 3000K
(2) Grow 6400K
(2) Pure Par
(1) 10K finisher bulb
(1) Pure UV

All are agromax bulbs. I came to this decision after consulting with and the advice and help from a few members. @RM3 , @Hybridway , and @whitebb2727 .

My CMH shipped with the 3100K bulb, I may or may not get the 4200K bulb later on to have the ability to switch.

It's all a fun learning process and figuring out what works for you. We do not all have the same needs/wants, and no 2 grow rooms/areas are the same.

Also my beans that I ordered from North Genetics and Oregon elite Seeds came in today.

The third run for me is going to get interesting lol. So many beans such little space lol........

Few shots of the outside garden:

IMG_20160523_172954.jpg IMG_20160523_173007.jpg IMG_20160523_173012.jpg

We have had really bad storms the last few days so some of the plants look rough but hey it's all part of mother natures doing. I'm sure everything will bounce back.

Note to other gardeners, do not use the self watering pots from lowe's or HD if you live somewhere that it rains a lot. You will come out to find dead flooded plants. I thankfully caught it after the first storm and drilled out holes on the bottom of them. The wife wanted them because of the "colors that are pretty" lol but for function in my area I will pass from now on. Lesson learned.

Well after a lot of research on both possibilities, and with little feedback from the group here, I decided to move the Incredible bulk to one of my DWC bucket setups. My thinking behind this was two fold:
1) If it is leaf miners the whole tent is probably screwed, and I see absolutely no bugs or bites anywhere on the other plants, and with a magnifying glass I could see no bugs on the leaves. So then what the bugs are in the soil, so let's take the plant out of the soil wash the roots and stuff it in DWC, problem solved right?
2) If it's just a calcium issue I will fix it by adjusting the nutes in the bucket as needed.

So here she is still alive and not dead although a little droopy. I believe she is beginning her flower stage as she stretched up considerably today from this morning.

So we shall see what I wake up to tomorrow lol:

IMG_20160523_214358.jpg

I started her off on the following schedule and we shall see if she tolerates it or not:
GH Flora Micro 7.5ml/gal
GH Flora Grow 7.5ml/gal
GH Flora Bloom 7.5ml/gal
CaliMagic 5ml/gal
Hydroguard 2ml/gal

I guesstimated where she would be at in transition to flower and we will see how it goes.

After messing with this plant today and transplanting it to the DWC bucket, I am considering tossing out the Sativa. The branches on this auto are so much sturdier and what not than the lanky Sativa in the flower tent. I would love to hear anyone's feedback on this, but I am considering tossing her out and seeing if I can come back with one of her two clones currently taking root in the solo cups. One of the two looks very promising.

Cheers

Well the Incredible bulk didn't die overnight and I still see no bugs anywhere so let's see how this progresses:
