i grew my clones with a 600watt hps in my tent an they was fine,i just kept my light at the top of the tent untill they grew a bit more then i droped it to about 18 inch above the plants

I have a seed with no shell. Do I still need to germinate?
Well i need a bit of help, im growing hydroponicly and its been 3 weeks the plants look good lots of leaves, green, but only 4 inches tall, i dont know the strain but im guessing that is a shorter bushier strain. But the roots inside the net pot are nice and white but when they extend out of the pot they only last a day, and they turn brown and die, ph is 6.3 and my ppm is at 367, i am wondering if i need to lower my nutes even more, say till its around 250-300, please help. Ooo and when i say alot of leaves the leaves bush out about 6-7 inches. ALSO RUNNING 400 WATT METAL HAYLIDE LIGHT 14 INCHES AWAY, AND ROOM IS A CONSTANT 78 DEGREES.

depends on how big you are gonna let the plants get, most folks use 5 gallon pots
at temps above 90F growth pretty much stops

as far as your electric bill is concerned 100 watts is 100 watts, and you folks need to get over this idea that you will have this huge electric bill a 400 watt light is no different then a 47 inch TV in pwr consumption, or say having lights on in 4 rooms in your househello my friend you look like the guy ive been looking for
LED's work but are far from the best option to grow with, there will soon be a day when they are better as they keep expanding the technology but till then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

depending on shade and cloud cover ??? how much more than 12 hours do you really think your getting and it needs to be over 16 hours with some strains,,,,or they could be auto's

I have a question on germinating temperatures.
I put some seeds between wet paper towels on a plate with an upside down bowl overtop. I put them on a heating pad on the lowest setting. When I got home today I checked the temperature and it looks like they were at 90 degrees F for about 24 hours. Was that too hot? Did i kill my seeds? If I take them off the heating pad will the temperature change be a shock to them? None have cracked open yet (out of 10). Should I just throw them in the pots and see what happens?

needs to 75F, 90 is a bit high but they may be ok if they have not popped yet, why I don't do the paper towel thang, just plant em

how much water does a 3 1/2 foot tall indica need its 3 weeks into flower an i want to know how much water it should need a week or a day or wotevers easiest for you to work out

I'm pretty sure I have said several times in the past few days
THAT YOU SHOULD WATER FOR PLENTY OF RUNOFF
you don't water a certain amount and you don't water on a schedule
You water when the plant wants it and you pour enough water in the pot to get a minimum of 10% runoff
hi, was wondering if someone could clear up a few simple questions, i have a 600w H.i.D and a 1.2m x 1.2m milar lined grow tent and was wondering how many plants could be put in this area, and second of all what is the best soil to buy for flowering in the uk, i know these questions are probably answered elsewhere but after 2 hours of searching my brain hurts.
