Mine will be in about a half hour & it promises to be Tempura Ling Cod with a special homade dip.

I just went and checked on my pig blind/outdoor plot. Lots of sign around. Maybe 20, 25 piggys. And one good sized sow.
Gonna slip out this evening and score one or two.

Then on the way back I hear the whirlygigger above me and holy sheet, sheriff's bird with spotters scoping me. Well now, ain't the first and ain't gonna be the last, I know what's coming up in the next mile or two. Whirly banks, I toss my travel package out the window, check for any stray rounds that might be laying around and bingo! Two of the forestry services finest are in the middle of the trail with one palm up and one gripping iron. Yeesh.

Permit check, contraband check, weapons check, illegal game check.
Told em I'd be happy to check any of those things out for them.

I use short grain sushi rice or basmati. All we eat in this house is rice, rice, rice...

Either that or buckwheat and soba/udon are also filling. Just add chicken, fish, seaweed or some kind of bean and you're good.

we have a 20 lb bag of jasmine rice to finish before i buy anything else but have heard good things about basmati

Mama gets jasmine rice sometimes because it's cheaper. Or brown rice, it just takes longer to cook.

Was planning on two chicken corn dogs.. But I apparently cooked only the pan.. Let's try this again..

When I first glanced at your pic, I thought you were eating umeboshi over rice. I threw up in my mouth a little bit...
