I think im gonna do a little MG challenge this year with outdoor. Im going to have one plant in all MG soil, fed with all MG nutes, i plan to throw some extra perlite in the soil, because MG soil really lacks perlite, and getts pretty matted and compacted.
I'm really happy with the Moisture Control that I'm using right now, with about 30-40% of the MG perlite mixed in.
I can tell a BIG diff. from last grow when I didn't add the perlite.

The problem with miracle grow is not the soil itself, its the time release nutes...
the time release nutesn are easy to manage
majek, your post is totally wrong. I've used MG MC Soil for a couple of years now, and I've planted my germinated seeds right into this soil with nothing but progress to report. Yes, there are time released nutrients in this soil, but just be careful with how you water your girls (watering triggers nute release).

Right now, my grow is at day 35, using MG MC Soil. Been in flower for 10 days. 2 different strains; Sour Diesel (Sativia) and a Indica strain (Not sure what exact strain is). The Sour D is 32" and the Indica is 14", with buds forming everywhere, using the Uncle Bens Topping technique (topped 1/2 inch above second node to get 4 tops). The plants look fucking, FANTASTIC!

Also, NO NUTES UNTIL FLOWERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
glad you said somthing
man this threads still going? MG STILL SUCKS GUYS. give it up...
come on really? orn are you just trollin. There are way wrosem than MG and MG isnt the best butn def doesnt suck

Hey bro! I was just reading a post about that "kelp" stuff.. and it being good for MJ?!!
Is there any chance you where talking about "Gravity"?? Because it has the "kelp" extract stuff in it.
And my plants, "flowering" girls LOVE it!! Its a "flower hardner" "Gravity" is the
Name of it. Supposed to be used along with Molasses, & Snow Storm Ultra..But doesn't have to be!
But its really some good shit!!

"Bad Ass" you meant 2 say! all 3 "Gravity", Snow Storm Ultra, & Bushmaster are all 3 the BOMB in my book!!
And I use all 3 on a regular basis! Don't get me wrong though. I do half my girls in "chemicals" per say. And the other half of the girls get "a" organic! Soil, nutes, you name it!! ;)

And I've herd all that stuff about Humboldt's nutes "Gravity" & the others are suppose to be bad, & have cancer causing agents in them. But frankly, if you do atleast your "week" flush towards the end of the flowering cycle, everything is outta there! And your safe!! ;)

*take me 2 the ball game* lmfao!! I had too. Sorry.. ;)

Found this interesting response on another website concerning PGR's. I've also done research on using MG Bloom Booster, and by the time the plant has been cut, dried, cured, and smoked the affect of any chemicals used in the grow are virtually gone.

"No, HCO products do not contain a single known carcinogen, whatever your misunderstandings regarding paclobutrazol.

Here, since you are clearly are on some holy quest against PGR's you do not understand - have a read and a dose of enlightenment:

http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/risk/rcd/paclobut.pdf

Note at oral doses of 1500mg/kg of body weight liver damage was induced in rats. Larger mammals had no appreciable decline in liver function. There is exactly ZERO onocological effects related to the use of paclobutrazol.

The idea that paclobutrazol, metabolized through a plant, and then dried and smoked (with all the myriad and countless attendant chemical changes these actions entail) will somehow transmit a body-alterting chemical is just stupid - particularly when that plant MIGHT metabolize 25 or 50mg of paclobutrazol over the course of the finish/flush and a solid 1000 - day over day over day - would be needed to induce liver damage. IN RATS.

Seriously - one would ingest way more poison eating a tomato out of the Wal-Mart produce section."

Also started two more plants, gonna try 12/12 from seed,, they were germinated in papertowel, and planted yesterday,, had about an inch long tails on em so I popped em in the dirt, no sprouts yet

MG is fine as long as it fits your style of growing. The delayed release of nutes is a blessing for people that just want to water and let it grow slow and easy.
If you want to grow fast or for yield, and tune in veg cycles and flower cycles the delayed release nutes get in the way since its not controllable.

I'm not for or against MG it was all they had at the place I went to. I have to say I haven't had a problem with it so far. I normally like to buy local brands to help out small businesses. My plant seems to be doing well and she my 1st plant. I did have another plant that I rescued from the trash she was doing well too but I threw her away because she had been left in the dark for like 3 weeks (she was a bigger growers cast off) and when she did start growing again her growth was uneven. poor thing had been broke in half and most of her fan leaves had fallen off. she did start putting out new growth she just looked so funny I couldn't take it anymore lol

All I use is mg organic soil and plant food. Plants are fine and hanvt had any major problem. A yellow leaf every once in a while but thats normal. I always hear horror stories of n00bs trying to get very technical and fail. Im a n00b as well and mg organics has been easy and productive

My MG plants I threw in the Flower Room Today This is the OP is anyone wanted to know

DSCN4998.jpgDSCN4999.jpgDSCN4996.jpgDSCN4995.jpgDSCN4997.jpg

They have been in nothing but 6 month feed MG and perlite since they were seeds!!! I had no problems except with one that looks like it was needing Nitrogen which was weird.

They never burned and they never stretched.

Now they are going to start flowering in MG and see what happens
