Tired of people say MG is not for Cannabis. I'm going to shut all of you up.

Things are going good. The big girls are kicking it into high gear! The little sister's buds are just getting fatter and fatter and frostier!

Good to hear you are using the stuff I sent. Yea that kelp is great for the plants! Let me know how that Blossom + Initiator stuff works, I have never used it, The red powder stuff.
OK, will do.
It'll be a while though, I was a little late to add it according to the recommendations, so I'm just checking out some of the other goodies.:p
I'll have pics up tonight in the CFL section after lights on.

Nothing is wrong with MG soil as long as you use the organic mix, the others contain time-released nitrogen capsules that are way too hot for young seedlings. Some mixes also have wayy too much peat moss which holds too much water and doesn't allow the pot to drain properly. I agree with the above poster if you are going to use MG always add perlite to the mix.
majek, your post is totally wrong. I've used MG MC Soil for a couple of years now, and I've planted my germinated seeds right into this soil with nothing but progress to report. Yes, there are time released nutrients in this soil, but just be careful with how you water your girls (watering triggers nute release).

Right now, my grow is at day 35, using MG MC Soil. Been in flower for 10 days. 2 different strains; Sour Diesel (Sativia) and a Indica strain (Not sure what exact strain is). The Sour D is 32" and the Indica is 14", with buds forming everywhere, using the Uncle Bens Topping technique (topped 1/2 inch above second node to get 4 tops). The plants look fucking, FANTASTIC!

Also, NO NUTES UNTIL FLOWERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey bro! I was just reading a post about that "kelp" stuff.. and it being good for MJ?!!
Is there any chance you where talking about "Gravity"?? Because it has the "kelp" extract stuff in it.
And my plants, "flowering" girls LOVE it!! Its a "flower hardner" "Gravity" is the
Name of it. Supposed to be used along with Molasses, & Snow Storm Ultra..But doesn't have to be!
But its really some good shit!!
No, that's not the name of it, but I have used kelp (powdered last 2 plants, and first month and half of this until I ran out:cry:), and don't know how much it really helps, but it's gotta do something for as bad as it smells. LOL
The first time I got a whiff of it, I actually dumped a gallon of nutes thinking I had something bad in my jug when I started.
I'll check into that 'gravity' you mentioned though, sounds interesting.

Sorry everybody, somehow my math got all FUBAR, and IDK what I was thinking, but first pistils were on Dec 17th, 8 days after the flip.
My other math seems to still be correct though, additional lights were added Jan 4th to bring total to 305w, previously the 98w I had vegged with.

i grew my girls from seedling to what you see in Miracle Grow...i've made every newbie mistake...gotten thru them with the help of RIU and almost ready for harvest. the only thing i can say was a problem due to MG is a few...and really only a few...fungus gnats. however i've read that most potting mix contains "extra" stuff that can cause this and many soils already have the larvae in it. just my two cents...for whatever it's worth! LOL

Stop telling new growers NOT to grow with Miracle grow like it's going to kill the damn plant. Saying it is a "miracle if the plant grows in miracle grow"

It is deff not the best or first choice but is very affordable and can grow any plant just fine. I am going to prove it. Give me a little time to get a good cutting or a few seeds.
I think im gonna do a little MG challenge this year with outdoor. Im going to have one plant in all MG soil, fed with all MG nutes, i plan to throw some extra perlite in the soil, because MG soil really lacks perlite, and getts pretty matted and compacted.
