avrum,

Revegging is not an expertise, though I have tried my hand. The first experience with revegging was with a cutting taken from an Alaskan ThunderFuck 40 days into flower. It took the little thing SIX weeks to root/reveg, but it sure did! Next was a harvested Blackberry Skunk; it went from a 2kw HPS room to ~60w CFL and a new pot. It took about two weeks and lots of mutated growth to adapt to the 18/6 light cycle; after that it resumed normal vegetative growth except with a higher propensity to branching.

This is gonna be fun to watch.

Happy New Year!

P.S. Have you broken into the bubbleicious since the first offense? How is the cure going?

thanks, maariic. this is very exciting, i believe alot of people are curious about revegging, its an important mission to document.

oTm, its good to hear in person from someone who has actually done it before.

I did go for a second round with the bubblelicious, even though its only been curing for 4 days.. I can already feel the difference.. smoke is still harsh but you can feel the flavor wanting to burst.. two weeks of curing will do the trick I believe. the high is quite powerful, reminds me of when I just started smoking weed.. the head is spinning and you just want to close your eyes and let it take you wherever it wants. still havent smoked it with friends but i think its could be a good social high too. so far i'm very excited with this strain, way better than the LSD from my last grow, but I guess I got a shit pheno because its usually highly rated. I dont think I will be able to go the two week cure without touching it since I only got a couple of grams left from the LSD grow and I smoke roughly half a gram per day.. oh well. :eyesmoke:

Avrum, revegging is a slow yet simple process. I have had success and like to keep the same plants in rotation by using this method. Good luck brotha. It takes awhile to reveg btw.

i will be doing the same thing! just found my old speakers in the basement. i just need to figure out a way to make the box silent, and i cant have any light leaks. your box is a real help thank you! but i have some questions, first do you have any type of odor control? second with your fans blowing outwards is it noticeable at all? and finally any light leaks if so suggestions for eliminating them? thanks

cheers mr skunky, feel free to post pics of the build.

I used ona block before but now i just use scented candles.. good enough for me. the fans arent noticeable because i have a light trap that hides them.. i just took some cardboard box and cut it in a shape that covers the fans. its not 100% light proof because it gets too hot in there if i make it more complex.. i live in a hot country and winters are pretty short here. the light issue is something i still havent managed to figure out, but my box is placed between a workstation and the wall so as long as the light doesnt come out the top end, i'm fine with that. if you figure out how to make light traps that work 100% and dont block too much air flow, please let me know. :) if you have any more questions, feel free. i'm here to help! bongsmilie

EDIT: needless to say, the speaker is too small for me to use air tunnels to block the light.

im more curious about the front. the black mesh they use for these speakers is made to allow the sound through, id be worried that guest or others may hear the sound of my fans humming inside from the front. but i suppose a piece of cardboard or plywood would stop this. im not sure ill go the same route you went with ventilation i might only use one fan, but im not positive that will cool the box off enough, im concerned about stealth for the moment, so if i can use as little openings as possible im going to take the route. im thinking i might intergrade the front to look like its never been modified. might even have a fake woofer cone put over the front, then ill make the back pretty much just a door. not positive yet. im also thinking of have a small carbon filter box inside, but i again dont know how necessary this will be. the box will be in a room with several aquariums so its always smelling 'funky' in here

EDIT: maybe blacked out pieces of pvc pipe around the intake and outtake? would allow for more control over air flow along with eliminating more light

im using the mesh cover as my door and the fans are in the back. DSCF2615.jpg for the light i covered it with cardboard, but the fans are going to be heard anyway unless you find an extremely quiet fan.. my box sounds like a working pc. anyway, i dont think you need to put a fake woofer, sounds like alot of work.. I have had many visitors in this room and none of them noticed anything. i kinda regret using 4 fans.. i think that 2 fans would have done the same job.. i might take two out and check how temps change. about the pvc, I made a cardboard tunnel to block the light so its kind of the same.

while i'm at it, i might as well do a small update.. I found a peice of plexiglass and cut it to fit the speaker.. gonna watch the temps and growth for the next few days to see if it helps with heat and doesnt stunt growth. its day 23 for the NL.. some pics:

Very nice growing. Northen looks so healthy. How many weeks are you going to veg?

Purple one looks great. It is a touch of autumn in your closet! Speaking about Autumn - is anyone having winter anywhere? We should have -20C by this time here but there is no sign of any minus.

Everybody is showing off today and yesterday. I think I will put some pics as well. Come and have a look later! Lilindian has inspired all to get up their asses.
