yes those are 120mm arctic cooling fans. i run them with a 12v charger, they're pretty quiet. 2 intake and 2 exhaust. i think im gonna remove one intake and put it inside the box for some better air flow.

avrum,

These are great spaces with beautiful plants. I'm subbin up. Thinking there's a micro-PAR setup in your future?

oh, i havent read that one yet, but it sure is on the to do list. micro growing is awesome, and harvesting an ounce every couple of months is nice, but im doing the stealth gig only because i live with roomates. i have always dreamed about growing bigger trees.. hopefully next year i will get my own place, and a nice tent or closet with some kick ass LED panel, or maybe even an HPS!

Great stuff, that wire you have attached to your plants look badass. Nice looking plant for the size

overTHEman, will do, but its gonna be a while.. this lease is until September when i graduate from uni, and then a long vacation somewhere far far away from here

thanks, Teamo. that wire is tin, the stuff you use to weld stuff. i find it perfect for lst cause its flexible yet it stays in the shape you want it to be.

Northern Lights update: it's day 15, still havent fed, ill probably give it a small dose of BioGrow next time i water it. i should transplant to final pot, top and start lsting too. all of this will happen in the following week, with a couple of days between transplant and topping, to let it recover.

ITS HARVEST TIME!

this bubblelicious has flowered for a full 6 weeks.. the fastest photoperiod i have ever grown. I decided to chop just the top buds that were ready (60% cloudy, 30% amber and 10% clear), and left the rest - the lower ones, to ripen up for another week or so.

and here is the rest of the plant that is going back to flower:

after i chop the rest of it, it goes back to my PC Case for a reveg! I want a bigger plant of this strain, the smell is mesmerizing!

EDIT: merry christmas and happy hannuka!

avrum,

you're clearly a skilled grower, and a spatially genius microgrower. It's tough finding support for this hobby; keep sharing, we're lucky to have you.

What's up next? New beans/clones or the reveg?

lol, i dont know about the genius part, i started growing less than a year ago, still a newbie! thanks for the awesome compliments though. i try to keep it simple, and cannabis loves simple.

next is the northern lights.. i should transplant it today, got some perlite yesterday. the bubblelicious is going to reveg since i didnt clone her and i really want to keep the genes. i might build the other speaker from the pair and then the pc will be my micro mother box with nl and bubblelicious, and each speaker will be a flowering box for each strain.

if this whole reveg thing doesnt work out, i still got a few good beans left - nirvana's papaya which ive heard is awesome, barney's tangerine dream and green house super lemon haze. not too keen about growing the last two since they are sativas and take ages to flower.

Awesome! Im just starting out with micro growing as well and this is definitely an inspiration! I thought about the computer tower idea but figured it would be too small i built a grow box the same shape just added about 8" to the height. Cant wait for the payoff though! :weed: Awesome stuff though man keep us updated!

avrum,

It sounds like you're ready, you've got some good strains and a plan. The reveg works, it will just take awhile. A repotting/root pruning helps speed the process.

Do you have a design/plans for the speaker boxes or do you build as you see fit? The first one looks very efficient.

hey, thanks man. feel free to post pics of your box, it sounds interesting.

well, it had to be stealth so i had to put fan holes at the back, both intake and exhaust. i mounted the lights at the top of the speaker, i kinda regret that. now if i want to do a scrog grow, i have to change the light setup to something more adjustable so i could lower them to the screen, or attach the screen to the pot so i could raise the plant to the lights or take it out of the box. i'm still not sure if i should go with lst again or try to work something out and try a scrog. also i need to make better light traps. i think its blocking too much ventilation, keeping my temps a bit higher than i want them to be.

hey avrum i love you're setup. i have a speaker box just like that i have gutted, how did you mount you're lights?
cool stuff, i'd love to see some pics of your speaker box. i just screwed them to the side of the speaker.. you can see a picture of it in the first post of this thread. i should make an adjustable hanger for them.. how did you hang yours?
