someguy, i just found your thread! ill follow, i didnt even know about it. so i have a couple questions. first off, do you know the dimensions of the magnum 6"? i have the big kahuna and im just curious, they look about the same. is your room still setup like this pic? if so, is that inline sucking or blowing?

edit: i guess i should pay more attn to sigs, i woulda found this faster.
Think your good on demsions, yeah it's setup the same. I always suck through carbon filters, but I have it blowing through the hood and out. I would like to change this because the ducting blows up like a balloon, so when I lift the hood it expands... if I have it sucking it collapses neatly. My Hydro setup as the fan up above sucking through the whole system.
think im gonna have to grab one.. is this your first time using hortilux.. or have u have had other grows with this bulb?
I've always used hortilux bulbs. Have 4 of them now, they are grade A, but PRICEY. If you check their site u can figure out the hours until you get 90% of the brightness, this is when I like to replace. My 1000w superblue is rated 90% until 5000 hours, so I just log each grows hours on the box. Saves money stores say u should replace every grow, lol robbers man.
i looked up the magnum xxxl, the only difference is its like an inch shorter horizontally and vertically and doesnt offer an adjustable socket. their sweet hoods man, excellent footprint, and its not brighter in the middle of the 4x4 area, its just as brght on the outsides as the middle. i also put a 400 vertically (air cooled) its so fricken bright in that little area. im not havin no more 1/2 oz per plant yields LOL.
Yeah I'm thinking about grabbing two 4ft 8 tube flouros to put as side lighting in my new walk in here in a couple months when I move.
LOL here i go blowin up your thread!

did you know that ionic and greenfuse go together really well? also its the same as atami except its missing a secret ingredient that atami has. (what i heard)

i just started using the cns17 line, i paid 33 bucks for the grow, bloom and ripe. i was however using the greenfuse and ionic, be careful my ionic expired on me and ruined a crop.
Damn, ionic nutrients or the greenfuse? I was under the impression synthetic nutes take forever to break down... I am going through the greenfuse no problem, won't have it more then 2 rounds.

Finally picked up the duct, got the fan and everything wired up. I'm going to grab a speed controller for it, but besides that the setup is pretty much ready to rock. O I got my pedestal fan too, but idk if it will fit in the tent anymore  This xxxl 6" hood is huge, I can't imagine what the 8" ones are like. Let me know what u think of the ducting setup. The clones are doing well, all perking back up from the transplant. They will go under the MH in the tent tomorrow probably.

Check out my base station for my remote temp sensor. Nice to sit back and monitor it in the other room from here. It's also expandable up to 3 sensors, which is pretty bad ass also. O and that's my new bowl also.

Props to the long lost Al B.
Maybe you have already done this but if not......
Just some ideas for you, I'm not saying your system doesn't work for you or anything, I'm just giving you some ideas, if you've got the equipment you could test it out and see which way gives you steadier temps and humidity and all of that? Just passing on the knowledge brother, keep on keepin on!

Have you been able to track down a PAR rating for them. I'm running x2 600s and even on the manufacturers specs all i get is the lumen count. It would be helpful if you could point me in the right direction. I've checked the website, but....

Awesome man, that might actually lead you to victory. I love how much air the roots get, they are worth the small cost IMO. I gotta an account over there so I'll follow that party cup grow off for sure.

Sweet, it's early to tell but it does seem like my coletrain in the smart cup is ahead of my Master Kush in the party cup.

Girls lookin pretty good. Got a touch of mag deficiency I think so I added a little cal-mag with this watering. The canopy is about 20-22 inches above the soil surface now, everything's going great.

alright, i'll follow then, 1ks are where its at.
how do the plants take to nutes???
Both seem to take fine, PE a little more so then LA. PE I can hit 2.2EC or higher with no tip burn, LA is a little lower maybe 2.1EC or so b4 tip burn.
