damn bro.. u really doing your thing!! .. how is it smelling?...
Well, outside of my spaces... not much at all  the phresh filters are doing their jobs. But a squeeze on the buds smells great and the trics are just starting to form up. Love being perpetual, it's like there's constantly buds growing

Just a suggestion in case heat ever becomes a problem or humidity and what not...

Props to the long lost Al B.
Maybe you have already done this but if not......
Just some ideas for you, I'm not saying your system doesn't work for you or anything, I'm just giving you some ideas, if you've got the equipment you could test it out and see which way gives you steadier temps and humidity and all of that? Just passing on the knowledge brother, keep on keepin on!

um i hate to bust the bubble on this design but you need to pull the air thru the filter not push it out of it, as with any filter in any machine or what not. it would be better to just attach the filter to 1 end of the vented hood / cool tube and attach your can fan on the other end of you 2nd hood/cool tube sucking the air thru the filter, thru the hood/cool tube , thru the 2nd hood/ cool tube and vented out the top of you grow space.

Yeah I know that it is best to pull not push. Mind you I didn't make the design, Al did. He was wrong on the placement of the fans and the direction the air was being pulled, I agree with you on that. However, I agree with Al that it is best to have your cool tube/hood's air not touch the grow room and have a separate fan with a filter for the exhaust of the room and I'd use a passive air intake to save dinero.

I was looking into how clean rooms work because I want cleaner air in my tent, specifically I'm sick of cat hair, human hair, ect flying into my buds due to all the negative pressure in the space. But in order for it to be most effective you need positive pressure in the space, directly against what you want for odor control. My idea is to use tents or constructed spaces inside the room. These spaces will have positive pressure with input fans with hepa filters. They will be contained inside a room, which has negative pressure, and also houses the carbon filter scrubbing. This is the only way I can see to have a clean growing space (dust ect) and also contain the odor effectively. Anyone have experiance trying to create a filtered space or is no one else sick of smoking cat hairs?

you can just put some cheese cloth over your intake so nothing can get in.i feel your pain on the cat hairs,i have 3 dogs and their hair is everywere.no matter what i do i always drag some in with me

That would work too on the cheap. But hepa filters catch pollen, dust, molds ect so if I can really get it working properly, I could have a much more clean environment, and therefore much cleaner bud. They weren't too pricey either, a 6" is only like 130. Eh..it's down the road anyhow, just thoughts.

im sayin 1 fan for intake and 1 fan for exaust pulled thru the filter then the lights then out of the grow space. with that being done the air from the cool tube will never hit the air in the room because its being pulled thru. im not sayin my way is perfect but its my opinion. just didnt want to people to see that and start usin their filters wrong and start wonderin why it still smells. respectpa

hey man, I'm just stumbling across your grow - looks real good, you know your shit. Keep that humidity down, not really that much of a problem over here in Cali, but shit can happen to any of us.
+rep and subbed. looking forward to seeing these buds develop.

The dehumidifier is holding about 45% RH during the day and 50% at night... which is leaps and bounds over the 70-75 it would spike to at night before, even with the exhaust on 24/7. I'm tryin to get out to cali eventually, I'd love to live out there.

The super blue is the dual arc bulb (600w hps and 400w mh) that runs on a 1000w hps ballast. Retail is like 240 a bulb I believe. Eye does make regular hps and mh also that are more like 100-130.
