No Pest Strips?

Hey, who here has used a no pest strip for spider mites? Did it work? Did it affect the finished product? I am mid flower and hear many reports of this working where other methods fail, but i dont want my bud to taste bad or anything. I have heard many say its insane to bring that into a house, and others who say its amazing and works great, so please help. I am struggling with mites and have a huge grow riding on it. 4 1000 watt lights worth.

i don't know enough about pest strips. also curious to find out.

one thing i can tell you though - it's better risking a possibility of some bad taste than losing your whole or most of your crop.

I've been using no-pest strips since my first spidermite infestation several years ago. Never had'em again until a friend gave me a lemon skunk to finish for him.......it was loaded with fucking spidermites....put in in a tent with a no-pest strip...spiders no more.....I've shared my weed with many many friends...no one has ever mentioned any taste other than normal juicy buds....being retired from the chemical industry, I was very cautious about using past strips but so far have seen no drawbacks........but then again, treated pot plants don't affect me, affect me, affect me.....

I intend to continue use of no-pest strips .... protection for my most desireable medicinal relief is important and they've worked for me. That being said, I do make sure ventilation is very good wherever a strip is used....it is a poison....

so i guess you guys are referring to the strips with the chems, not the yellow sticky ones. I dunno, they just don't sound right with all the vapor.

I used to put one at the base on my plants in veg , I moved them to flower and noticed some mites on one, I got an flomaster atomist and some purespray . If used regularly the atomist and nothing but water seems to take the little bastards out.
Since I got it I haven't seen a mite, its all about being diligent with the sprayer. An atomist makes it easy to cover an entire plant very quickly. But back to the subject..... I don't bother with the no pest strip in veg anymore and I certainly wouldn't put any in flower.

ity wont affect the bud but may affect the plants health. i use one cause ill find some mites here and there ...but if i put it in a small tent, everything will get poisoned, i just leave one in the main facility, not near or in direct contact with the plants.

i use them, they seem to be a good preventative measure, another thing you can do is get a shopvac of the sort and it sounds crazy but if you have a severe infestation you can just stick the hose around your plants and suck the bastards up, after you do that, fill your tub up with COLD water and flip your infected plant upside down and submerge everything green and then kinda shake the whole thing underwater, they get shocked and they will fall off from the shaking, sounds corny, but it works ..... follow that up with a sns -217 treatment ( all natural) , then a week later give em a shot of azamax... dont forget to clean your grow area top to bottom with a mix of water and bleach in a squirt bottle, spray everything ! , rinse and repeat and you are on your way.... cleanliness is next to godliness... peace, happy killin :) p.s. everything i just wrote is in the event that you notice spidermites in veg, i would not spray a budding plant with anything.... i have done the submerge method and the other treatments with clones i get from shady characters who dont give a fuck about mites, i do,,, they suck balls

One word man, Atomist.
This thing will blow the little bastards and their nasty little eggs right off your plants, add a speed controller (kinda harsh at full throttle , which is all it has without the addon controller) and you're set. a little oil o f your own choice and you'll never have a problem again, you don't even gotta spot them with this thing if you'r diligent enough
