This is the community journal for Bob Bitchen's Beans. @BobBitchen Has been providing some amazing Beans for some time. If you've seen any pics of any of his work or even better, heard someone talk about and describe how well the plants grew, how insanely frosty they were, or the best yet, how it is their personal favorite smoke, then you know what I'm talking about. There have been several other community journals that have had success in bringing growers together to compare and share info around growing certain lines and breeders. The others can be found here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/community-journals-organization-thread.1096265/

This is open to EVERYONE. Post grows, specs, methods, opinions, and most importantly, PICS!!!! Let's have some fun and share some more knowledge.

I came home yesterday to a little treat in the mailbox. Thank you, Bob!!!

I was going to wait until this current run and some life happenings are over before popping these Beans, but wouldn't you know it, a bean just happened to land in a little red solo cup filled with coco last night. Who am I to interfere with what the universe has planned?

I'm in ! Excited to see everyone's journal here. I have 3/6 that popped up thru the soil. I think I'm gonna re-germ today the ones that haven't popped up. I've grown the slymer multiple times so I'm giving the other packs a chance. I wanted to do chaka khan again but I decided to do all fireballs crosses and a honeybee20231217_093038.jpg

Hey everyone! Can't wait to see everyone's frosty beauties. I cracked a pack of slymer s1's, wound up with 8.

They really took off. I'm going to have a full tent pretty soon. They are about a week into flower and showing 2 phenos. Taller and whispy and another more compact. The whispy one seems to be flattening out its own canopy which is nice. I topped once for clones and put them into bloom a few days later. I figured I'd let them recover after being topped, bit they didn't skip a beat.

Anyone notice any stark differences between the two phenos aside from visually? Potency any different?

Forgot to mention I have 1 plant that looks mag deficient. One of the whispy ones. I think it's just happy being unhappy. I know a lot of people like that too.

I'm only on day 10 of flower, but I had to do a defol. I was running out of room. So I got up close and personal. Out of the 8 beans I popped successfully, here's what I see.

1 short and spindly
2 short and decent
1 short and lovely

3 tall and very nice
1 tall and a real beaute.

Here's a shot of the potential keepers, just judging by structure and uniformity.

Hope they root quick, I need clones like Bruce Dickinson needs more cowbell. Explore the space ladies

Definitely had the light too dim and got some really stretchy seedlings..

Kush #18 x fireballs (doc dank and Bob bitchen collab) made it thru the coco on my 2nd attempt and I was able to dig up the fireball x fookies (fookies = fireball x Christmas cookies ((exotic genetics))) 20231223_093849.jpg

Doesn't look like honeybee will make it to the party but I'll give it a few more days.

Day 10

She got moved into her final pot. I buffered some leftover coco with 200ppm food. It just dawned on me that I used bloom food. I assume that is gonna be ok for a couple days. I went ahead and tossed her into the auto tent under 18/6 or 20/4. Not 100% sure what I have it set on.
