No longer dealing with Greenpoint seeds

You can buy worked strains that play out real close to the described strain, no variations or you can buy strains where the sky is the limit. Lots of phenotypes and variations( yield, flavor, potency). Possibly find the next big thing. So I prefer chunks. A lot of issues I see are user error ( hermies, yield)

I received mine free of charge...didn't even pay shipping. They weren't freebies with an order. Testers were announced, listed for free, at 4/20. First come first serve.
People really have no grounds to complain if they were literally free with a limited supply. I see no difference than running bag seed in that situation. Of course everyone is guna hold even free testers from a breeder to a higher standard. Which makes no sense. Testers are exactly that......tests

I've been let down many of times pollinating. Only way to find the good stuff is to try....try ....and try again ...lol

Thanks

Edit:::
I'm on my cell so the auto correct is fucking me ....apologies

We got hit with CC fraud while vacationing in Hawaii. Its hard to say where the actual fraud came from. We used our card everywhere for two weeks from the Hilton in Honolulu to a tattoo shop in back alley in Waikiki.

With all the fuckery that happens in the bean bizz, I decided to open a second debit card account just for seed purchases. It just seemed so much easier than buying prepaid cards and wondering if they'll go thru.
So far so good...but I do keep a close eye on the account.
I went on vacation and every time I crossed state lines my debit card would get refused. I called the bank to setup where they knew I was on a trip. Had to call several times and they said they would fix it. Got so annoying I just went and withdrew a bunch of cash which I don't like doing.

Wow you guys turn and run quick eh?

I'm contacting RIU now to find out where the thread went. It was not my thread and I was not the OP so not sure what happened.

Mike, You tried to buy Texas Butter at $10 I don't sell seeds for that cheap playa, I explained the situation and you were still upset about our payment options.

I cannot please everyone.

But I'm still here.

So basically having the customer figure out what's good or not. Does he have a place to look at pics of his grows or read up on his findings and work?
Here’s the story. He sent out ten free packs of his new lines, first come first served. Basically any rando with an internet connection had access to these “testers”. Now, he called them testers, but I call them free advertising. Just giving away packs to anybody isn’t a reliable way to get anything tested.

Then, well before the “testers” had even been sent, Gu puts them up for sale at full price. He said that it was because people complained about not getting testers. Problem is, he had done the exact same thing before with previous crosses. Put up testers, but well before anyone could actually complete a grow, he had them for sale. If it happened once, maybe he could use it as an excuse. Twice, that’s just how he works. Use the allure of free testers as advertising, bring people to the site, and then just sell them for full price.

As for completed grows of these new lines, I’ve seen none. There are a few crosses on his site right now not listed as testers, yet I’ve never seen a grow of them. Lupine Lime, Peacemaker, Ghost Town. As far as I know, these are brand new lines, and I’ve never seen a grow on any of them.

And again, he released a ton of Monster Cookies crosses a couple years ago, they all hermed like crazy and caused a big fuss. If Gu tests his crosses, I’ve seen no evidence of it. I would be happy to be proven wrong on this.

I see you around on the greenpoint threads...if you feel that way and have this negativity, why are you here???

The thread was deleted by a global mod with no explanation.

Here is thier site which I'm usre you know.

weird that it got deleted. I use to pop in and check out what people were doing. I don't buy many seeds online. But I still like to see what's what with new strains. If I see a certain breeder and strain over and over in different 420 news places such as RIU. I'll grab some to play with down the road. Very rare that I actually buy online though. Mostly just trade with fellow growers I know and buy from my clone supplier of many years now.

Thanks

Ahhh I see. I heard about the herm issues. I didn't know he sold the "testers" at full price after offering them free as testers.

I am not responsible for this thread disappearing. All I ever wanted was my auction win. I'm not out to ruin you. also paid more than 10.00 for what I didn't get. You crapped on me.

NOW I get a shipping notice on my cancelled auction bid. All this could have been avoided. What a joke.

That is because he has spoken a fair amount of truth in this thread as well as the original Greenpoint thread.
Cheers :)
Ya, wasn't quoting you. If I go to a Chinese restaurant and bitch the whole time about "how the food sucks, service is shitty, management sucks", then I don't go back. Instead of coming back every day and bitching about the same thing.

You are right. You were not quoting me. But you were in fact using a quote from someone else to openly ask a question on a public forum. I am not on a Chinese restaurant forum so I can't comment on your brilliant analogy. This is however a cannabis forum and the bitching you are referring to actually seems to be legit info that people might actually be interested in before buying.
Cheers :)

It was a rhetorical question.

I don't know Gu and I've only been a customer for a few months, but I've always ordered seeds. Greenpoint has been good to me even when problems came up. I have been satisfied with my experiences with this company. You can buy seeds everywhere, but customer service means a lot to me.
