No longer dealing with Greenpoint seeds

You are right. You were not quoting me. But you were in fact using a quote from someone else to openly ask a question on a public forum. I am not on a Chinese restaurant forum so I can't comment on your brilliant analogy. This is however a cannabis forum and the bitching you are referring to actually seems to be legit info that people might actually be interested in before buying.
Cheers :)
The info isn't really legit. Problem 1: bitching about testers being sold...don't buy them- I didn't. They are labeled as testers, if you don't know that there are possible issues with testers, then you are an idiot. Problem 2: credit card-- this is still illegal on a federal level. If you are using a debit/credit card in your name attached to your bank account...you are an idiot. Problem 3: why not take down credit card- because some people with common sense or not so common decided that they could use a prepaid and get their beans quicker, less hastle.

I'm not trying to get anyone fired up. It just seems these so-called problems are created by the ones complaining.

I can’t think of any good reason a breeder would send out “testers” rather than testing them personally.

Especially to random internet growers.

We should call the tester seeds “chuckers”.

This company has mastered marketing.

The auctions are the funniest part. They completely devalue the overpriced seeds. Then seed junkies and noobs go and pay the retail price for the supposed rare treasures anyway.

My favorite breeder sends free seeds of strains to try out. Tested strains of the highest quality I would think to promote business.

If I like the results I buy some.

I thought legal weed would help with the companies gouging growers. So much info available now that was not in the past.

Didn’t help. It’s worse now.

Now back to germinating some $200 seeds under my $1500 led lamp. Lol.

Good thing I have this early cut uncured dispensary weed for $20 a gram with tax to get me by.

Lol.

Disclaimer: I have not tried greenpoint seeds. I do not know the quality personally. But they sure release a lot of crosses in a very short time.

Did anyone actually receive free ones? Seems like a bit reckless to give unproven genetics out. I was unaware they were offered for free. I'm all about freebies with orders. I wouldn't want "testers" though. So what's up with the rumor of people receiving different product from what they ordered.
No. There was a LOT more to that whole debacle. People were absolutely melting the fuck down because they couldn't get a free pack of those testers. Pages and pages of cry babies with serious entitlement issues. It was a shit show

Gu- said fuck it. If ya cant wait here ya go.

That thread has same handful of self righteous blowhards that always seem to find their way to ALL things related to breeder drama.

I don't see the problem with selling unworked seeds, I haven't seen anything saying they have been thoroughly tested. I always pay around $30 a pack. I hate when I buy so called tested and worked strains, for 2 or 3 times the amount to only find they don't match description and no keepers found.

The problem is the results. I can’t afford bad plants with my allowed count. And I know the testers are the same seeds they sell at high prices. It is marketing.

And I have never paid those inflated prices.

I only ever see a few phenos from my seeds. But you won’t see new strains of the month either.

If you are unhappy with new strains and crosses I recommend growing older classic strains.

For the record, I offer a lot for that $30 price point.
- Photographs and detailed descriptions (more than any breeder on any bank)
- Shipping and germination guarantees
- Same day shipping and free tracking
- Conveniences of CC payments and Bitcoin along with cash, money order, and wire transfer

I have a fully salaried staff that handles most of the day to day and are committed to making sure you get exactly what you'd expect from any other legit online retailer. A smooth and positive experience.

Where are the bad plants? New male lines get tossed because they can't compete with the Wild West series. Better to just add to the series.

Best bank IMO. Money well spent. Peace of mind is the most important.

I said I had no experience with your seeds. I was commenting on testers.

That flower looks wonderful. Why would it need to be discount auctioned or sent out as a tester?

I also think you are an excellent businessman. And I came from an even more difficult and competitive business. I managed new car dealerships for many years.

I respect you defending your position.

It wasn't part of the tester round. Why does any seed bank offer promos, rewards, discounts? Shouldn't you already know this answer? I mean...coming from an even more difficult and competitive business than the canna market.

I appreciate that.

It does not need to be discounted. But 90% of online transactions are under $60.

If you price your seeds above that you are only selling to 10% of any market.

1% of transactions are over $150.

People do not have a ton of money, I know that and I sell direct to accommodate the margin difference.

So I ask you all What's Better.
Sending 1000 seeds to a professional grower in cali or co. Finding 1 standout lady, pay a professional photographer to take kick ass pics of it. Then sell seeds for $150 to $200 a pack

or

Untested f1 seeds for $20 to $30 a pack..

I will wait for your answers because I know mine.

Both options suck. Find better and less greedy breeders.

The comment was meant sarcastically.

The auto industry advertising is mostly bait and switch. I chose to advertise honest prices on actual inventory.

Better to stand out in business than join in. Being compared to the crowd is a sure business killer.
