Still with as bushy as those plants are if you get penetration through the first foot of the canopy I'll be impressed lol.

Actually, I left some skinny branches undernieth that should've been popped just to see how that goes. I'll show you tom. How they look so far. Most are getting light NP on both sides. It's will they put out more than popcorn is the question. I doubt it just from my recent strain experience with my HPS GG Harvest. Mad popcorn. The tops were big heavy spears but there was allot of flarfy stuff that although hard enough to be s lil bud, I didn't wanna trim it pretty. So, got like a 5 gall bucket almost of popcorn for oil. Outta be good though!
This GG Is so over smelly my trim team could barley handle it. Ridiculous. And I see why they call it GG. it smells just like the construction adhesive. All day of that in a lil room that you can't vent cuz the whole nieborgood would smell is enough to knock you out or cause serious head issues. I feel bad for them. Even bought a scrubber just for the trim room 10 min before the store closed & it wasn't big enough & was useless. Maybe a commercial air-purifier? I doubt it! That GG IS NO JOKE! Super-Dank. Hate the plant though.

The Amare is straight killing the HH now. There's absolutely NO question about it!
Bout to get 2 more Amare 450's. Always thought I'd need a min. Of 660 watts for a 4'x4' space but the Amare has changed my mind on that. Don't even need to finish this grow to know. From what I see thus far, the plants reaction & explosive growth is showing me better performance then my HPS @ 600 or 1000watts. MHO. they look great & are filling in allot more then they did w/ my HPS run just finished.
So, I'll have dry Yeild #'s soon on my first GG run to act as a comparison for this.

I'll post some pics of the dry later. Trying to figure out if this is a known GG#4 strain I'm working with? Anyone have a pic of their GG#4?
I personally didn't like the plant itself. In flower the tops of each stalk n branch turned to a nice solid spear but no real colas. Everything under the spears w/ the exception of the balls under them, are small n flarfy. Good still if you wanna trim them lik balls all day but I threw em in the oil bucket. Some of my strains like the Original Blueberry Doesn't really cola up either but gives off a huge Yeild of big berry balls & rounded spears.
It's got allota purple in it too. Mad dank n crystals once dried & a real heavy hitter. Just don't think it's the real GG#4. Any thoughts? I'll post a dry later so you can get a better idea. This is what I mean by spears on the top n balls undernieth. image.jpg It wasn't that great a yielder. These are the same plants I have running now. Although it appears I'm getting much larger buds from the Amare then I did with HPS, fuller & longer anyways.

I think they went for the SunCloak, a huge light source on the other side of the room causing them to lay down. image.jpgStrung up a peice of trellis I had left over. When I can I'll probobly put a line across the middle to help hold some up as they get heavier. image.jpg

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Better then nothing I guess.Would've been nice if I double trellised it the right way to begin with. All good though. If I can manage to hold some up I'll be happy. Love this Amare! Really wish I had the height or a better spread on the HH. You can see the bright center. But not much but a glow outside of the little footprint.

Final dry Yeild on the GG#4 first run HPS room was 1.5 lb. per 4'x4' section with 2 plants. That's with about 1200 watts HPS.
Here's a pic. Of the dry. image.jpgimage.jpgIt is real dank & smells crazy strong. Heavy-heavy hitter. Resins galore n mad trichs. But not as much as the other GG#4 people have.
Didn't think I'd run it again cuz thought the Yeild would be to low. But it hit the min. Quota of 12oz. First run. That usually means I can increase it substantially within the next 2 runs. Plants a bitch though but it looks like I'll be keeping her against my better judgment prob.
I never expected the Amare to match the 1200watts but it's doing a good job hanging in there. Who knows right!

What ever happened with the Sun Cloak Grow?
I don't know how to post it under my posts like always attached? Or how to link it? But it's called OC GG#4 in the SunCloak 4416 under led/lighting. I need to update it I'm sure but it's there!

Wow Hybrid. I'm confused by all of your rooms though. Have you cut down the plants growing under the amare yet? Where is the amare light made? Did I understand you correctly, you needed about 1200 watts for a 4X4 space with HPS but you were able to do better with the amare in the same space for with only 450 watts? That light seems pretty amazing!

I notice in the fine print that it uses cree lights but they're not 3590's. Is the 3590 the best cree light available or is the light used in the amare 450 better in your view?

Ha! I was reporting my Yeild #'s on this strain in the HPS room so that we may compare later when this is harvested. I use about 1200w HPS for a 4'x4' & resulted In 1.5.
This situation is a little different seeing how it's 3 plants rather then 2. In my experience I can Yeild just as much off one as I can with 3 in the allotted space just about. It's basically the amount of light that is a main determining factor to the outcome.
I'm not saying my 450 Amare is beating out the 1200, just that it's keeping up real well. We won't know till harvest. Honestly never expected the Amare to match that much wattage & the owner never told me it would. Par #'s & quality of light (high CRI) is there but the fact remains, 1200w is allota light with much more intensity to the spread itself.
The Amare uses CXB 3070's. I think the only difference from them & 3590's is they're slightly smaller & handle like 7 watts less. I think it's 7 but maybe it more. They're almost the same. I think Amare uses the 3070's because they retrofit into their existing holders from the previous SE-350's that employed CXA's which are slightly less efficient then the CXB's. One thing I can say about Amare is they stay with upgrades & listen to the growers/consumers. Also, the owner is a grower himself. To answer your question though, CXB's in top-bin are some of the very best COBs available. Whether their 3070's or 3590's. They're almost the same. They're ran at 47 watts & are maxed at like 107 If my memory serves me correctly.
You can hit up Victor (the Amare owner) & he'll answer all your questions. They don't make claims & always get right back to you with the facts.
But yeah, I think this lights incredible!!!image.jpgimage.jpg

Big shout-out @smackadack! Thanks to this generous awesome Freind of mine from waist high & neighborhood. I now have a whole new line-up of MILFS (marijuana I'd like to flower) / new strains for the year. From what I see in his plants & hear from others who've run them, they are real good genetics. Seen his lil seed pouches but I don't know where they come from. I'll post some veg pics once they're situated. Temporary veg conditions at the moment & they just were planted from clone.
-Flo (Dj Short)
-Sweet Black Angel
- N.Y. Power Deisel
- GoGi (GG x OG)
- OG SFV (SanFernandoValley)
- Blue Dream
- Chem-Flo
- Kings
- Chem Dog #4
- Sweet Amnesia
My other buddy gave me a Sativa Dominant BlueBerry that Yeilds allot too. I've ran it before so i know it & think 2 runs will be good.

That crappy. I just wrote a decent post & it's all gone. This above posted by accident then after editing it disappeared. I can't do that again.
I have some Strawberry Cookie & C-99 too ready for flower.
Thanks to @smackadack i now have the best oil connect.
1 lb. Sugarleaf trim = 68 g nice clear/Amber
Here's some

He's still got 3/4 lb of straight GG po-corn from 2 plants I didn't Loli-Pop. It's so good as it is, can't imagine how good the pop-corns gonna be. This guys good too! This shit is the purest/cleanest oil I've ever had. Very happy!!!! :hump:

Just a few pics. Gotta run a peice of trellis along the middle of the HH side like I did the Amare. Getting heavy n falling over.
The trich development is amazing on both sides. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
Noticed I got some Nute-burn on leaves on the HH side only. Not the Amare or the SunCloak. Wonder if it's from a lack of plant to Nute to photosynthesis due to the spectrum? They all drink from the same reservoir.

image.jpg Just journaling. Got spider-mites in the whole garden from the electricians dog. I never let other dogs on the house. This happens every time they do. Sounds funny but my dog doesn't carry them. Hu! Anyways, my go-to product is Quantum Apocolypse. Some disagree w/ a neem product in flower but this works & is safe. Others have a different opinion I see from my SunCloak thread. But honestly have had no complaints. This stuff is made by a grower that owns the first grow store on my state. It's real popular here & the dispensaries accept the bud after it's been sprayed. I & others can taste no differance & it doesn't seem to effect the pot. But a product applied to the bud is what it is. Wish I didn't have to but kissing a crop to mites isn't an option. Especially when I anticipated this. Spring is here & it's time to bomb the ops.

It's a mess but I'm lucky I got this far honestly. These are stretchers alright. Plus I wasn't setup right. But still happy. There's a bunch laying down in the back but you can see the front still. The Amare is killing it all around. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

It looks like the nugs on the hydro hit side have a higher calyx to lead ratio than the solar spec in the photos. Is that accurate or is it just the photos?
