The structure on the Lhp is wild, im sure you could roll lots of perfect foxtail joints out of them haha. Ive only ever seen buds like that on sativa dominant strains and would definetly buy it just to try out the buzz

Chapter 8: Day 83 of 12/12 (Part 1)

We're down to 14 plants left. I was going to try and harvest 4 or 5 each day over the next 3 days but I've decided I'm going to wait and harvest all 14 on Tuesday Morning which will be day 86. All of them can really use just a couple of extra days. In all honesty, many of them can really use another 2 or 3 weeks but I just can't do that right now. Life stuff.

Here is what we have left:
(3) Green Crack from Humboldt Seeds
(2) Amherst Sour Diesel from Humboldt Seeds
(3) Forest Queen x Cobra Lips crosses I made. (Both Bodhi)
(6) Super Silver Hashplant x Cobra Lips crosses I made. (Both Bodhi)

I started tagging them and getting them prepped. All of the difficult ones have already been harvested so these will be really quick. I started breaking the room down a little bit and did some vacuuming. I plan on converting this space into the drying room starting Tuesday. I'll have much more control over temps and humidity than I do in my tent.

Some of my favorites are still going strong! 13 pictures tonight, so 2 posts.

some of them you could have taken past 100 days?! please specify those. this is incredible, i mean everything, from space, to lights, containers & simple nutes. has the frost level increased to above par yet ? during dry trimming what percentage of resin do you think falls off ? this is/was great, so good it has delayed my sending an email to another great grower like yourself.

That's a lot of questions!

Which ones could have gone longer? Hmm... Perhaps all 14 of the remaining ones.
Most of them look pretty ready but when I scope the trich's, they aren't quite there.

Frost level being on par or not. I guess this is very subjective, yes?

I don't seem to have a problem with resin falling off during dry trimming because I keep humidity nice and high. I don't let flowers dry in a super arid environment. If possible, I aim for 60% to 65% RH the entire dry cycle and I let it happen really slowly.

Right now I'm still in winter so my conditions are less than ideal. My ambient air temps are only 55F. I try and oscillate my RH between 50% and 60%. The goal is to prolong the hang dry as long as possible. My target is 8 days for the smaller flowers and 9 or 10 days for the larger more dense ones.

I'm experimenting with a pre-cure that involves breaking the plant down, trimming it thoroughly and placing the flower into pizza boxes on top of parchment paper in the same environment for 2 to 3 days. And into jars after that. I'm not really interested in burping jars several times a day but rather a couple of times a week for 1 week and then let them do their thing.

If you dry in a nice humid environment, then you never need to let them "sweat it out". My 2 cents, for what it's worth.

Chapter 8: Day 84 of 12/12 (Part 1)

As planned, nothing came down this morning. Still have 14 plants. All 14 will be harvested Tuesday Morning, Day 86.
I was able to get the rest of them labeled and prepped. All of them got a final watering. Other than group shots, I was only able to get 4 of the 14 shot tonight. Hopefully I can shoot the other 10 tomorrow night. I might miss a few, but I'll try my best.

I'll do this 1st post with all of the group shots and then follow up with a post for each of the 4 I shot afterwards.

Thank you! I have no idea how I might go about sending beans back. In fact, is that even a thing? Last update for this grow coming in the next 15 minutes.

Chapter 8: Day 85 of 12/12

This is the last night of this grow. I always get a little sad at the very end as I spend so much time with them. This time is especially hard because I'm done working for the next 6 months. I have some life stuff going on and I have some big decisions to make about how I want to proceed with this amazing plant.

I'll be sure to follow up with super hi-res pics of curing flower, but otherwise, this is the last post from me for a while. I spent the final 2 hours of lights on cleaning up the room and prepping it for the drying room.

The only other thing to mention is that I took the best Green Crack plant and did a pre-trim on her. It's kind of a comparison test. I also did it to show, yet again, how amazing small plants can perform. This Green Crack is going to yield ~ 28 grams having a 6" x 6" footprint in a container less than 1 gallon. That's 112 grams per sq/ft with no veg time. Nobody indoors can compete with that. Nobody. I shouldn't even be saying this but fortunately, only 2 or 3 people even read my ramblings.

A few closeups and a few room shots. Like I said, I'll be posting super hi-res closeups later but until then, Diggity out.

no it aint really a thing we just all wish we could. will you take pics of the interior of the stems? are they hollow ?
Are they supposed to be hollow? I guess I haven't really noticed. From memory, seems that most stems are slightly hollow. Why...what is that supposed to mean or indicate?

i just thought in the short time frame to support chunky buds they might be dense stems. but with coco i have had hollow stems before, i attributed the fast growth to hollow stems back then. but shit you do amazing things so i guess it doesnt matter, i am glad i was able to see whats possible, and you have set an impressive benchmark.
