No complaints here. Mixes just fine. I dont use it with my distillate though. I put the distillate straight into carts, or with up to 5% terps.

What's the learning curve on running that thing like? I might have to break down and get one someday. I assume it pays for itself if you go through enough.

Thats really neat. Thanks for sharing. Are u able to use this setup to seperate the terpenes from your distallate and theen add thoose very terps back to with your distallate to your carts? And finally i would love to know how much distallate you typically yield with your setup.

I dont know how to salvage the terps with the shortpath. I honestly dont even know if possible. I ruin them. They smell horrible.
I’m looking into steam distillation for that. Will be my next hobby to get into.

In a 2L setup, you would only run 1/2 its capacity max. Same with a rotovap. So I run up to 1L of winterized, decarbed oil. From that expect around 50-60%? yield of distillate. I dont keep track good enough to give you an exact yield from the material i run. I just made 440ml’s of distillate from around 800ml? +/- of crude.

But also, the material I run is most likely not going to be the same as the material you run. So yields wont be the same.

I sware, i keep telling myself to pay more attention to the numbers but i keep forgetting.

01E54FD5-4CEC-4FE7-9D20-BC5D732EB3D5.jpeg First test run tonight. Tiny one.... .57g of bud squished for about 3-4 minutes. Plates were set to 220 but I’m not sure of the temp. I got this in return from the blueberry. Kinda scary just pressing metal to metal.... sooner or later something has got to give. I have no idea how much force I was using . Anyone have any suggestions now that I’m up and ready ?

I used the .22 micron filters, my product was cloudy before but I SLOWLY pushed it through the filter and tada!!!!! Clear ...what looks like vape worthy juice

Which flavor do you think smells like death? Unflavored or natural has no taste and lets the taste of your concentrate shine. If you don't like that product, may I recommend Vapuer Terp. Their White Widow is a favorite.
