Global Governance through Realtime Interaction.

I'm not interesting in other people trying to dictate to me. Any proposal that leads to more people having power is something that I will oppose.

I have yet to hear Jointsmith come up with any limits on the power of this system of government. If it is not strictly limited in the kinds of laws, and regulations that it can pass then it has the potential to become even more tyrannical than any government on the planet.

Imagine having to surrender 75% of your paycheck if you live in the US to be given away to SE Asia and Africa. No thanks.

Personally, I don't like the Global Aspect of this. If it was just inside one nation, or inside one state/province and kept at that level then that'd be fine. But it is totally irrational to allow some one further than ... I'd say 50 miles away to have any say in how you live your life.
The way I see it, the system as I am proposing would not 'give' power to anyone, in fact it would take the power away from people YOU have no connection to. (thus giving EVERYONE equal power OVER THEIR OWN LIFE and little to no power over OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES (the way it should be)).

I agree, and think it would be divided up by locality, people would naturally be interested to contribute to the thing happening around them, as these thing will affect them most..... localities would need to become more self sufficient than for example the UK or US are currently, we RELY on imports to feed, clothe, and house people.... this (imo) is unsustainable.

But Global issues, ones which affect everyone (for example global climate change, use of essencial but limited resources) AND one's which affect one's own personal interests (for example this forum is people from all over the world discussing their interest in cannabis)..... I feel everyone should be allow equal input into.

I think that public information should be accessable to EVERYONE, not just a select few who can then use this information to decide our fates (or in other words 'control us').

I wouldn't say we rely on imports. There are lot of commodities (Bananas, Coffee) that are not required food items that we do import.

There is also the fact that the United States has this retarded idea that subsidizing farmers not to grow food is a good idea...

Government hard at work.

As far as the UK, you're probably right about the fact that they are not self-sufficient, I know from reading that during World War II the German control of the Atlantic prior to US Involvement got so bad that the UK was months away from starvation.

Anyway, back to your idea.

Try getting it in the UK, or even in just a County in the UK. If it works on that scale, then maybe ... (I'm not going to guarantee I'll support it) it might be worth looking into.

To try arguing that such an idea just needs to be jumped into is absurd.

You're right. Small scale is where it will start.

Small pockets of autonomy, there is already an area in my city moving towards this, the People's Republic of Stokes Croft.

'We the people' might actually be able to take the power back after all, especially if EVEN TheBrutal COULD be open to it.

I don't like the UK';s dependence on other countries for food, during WW2 we had 'Dig for Victory', now once again I think we're gonna have to dig for our freedom, I've already started.

If it works and doesn't mean that I'm going to have to surrender more freedom, and more of my blood and sweat to other people of course I'm open to it.

If it doesn't work, or if it relies on more coercion and more theft, then I wont be open to it.
