Could be a couple of reasons. I've DIY a cloner and the biggest problem was a poor spray pattern. What pump are you using? what pattern nozzles? 180 or 360? Actually after another look at the spray bar, the spray bar is too small from that tote what roots you do have are on the center plants

Also, some strains are a pain in the ass to clone. Humidity domes over the plants also helps even with aerocloners. I am a fan of ducksfoot and that is the bitchiest plant in the world to clone.... I went from it taking a month to clone without a humidity dome to 2 two weeks with one.
I could be wrong but the manifold seems to be okay -- it runs almost the length of the tote (maybe 65-70% of it's length and about 50% of it's width. There are 10 sprayer heads 360 degrees and the pump is so powerful I have to turn it down under 50% of it's power otherwise it's spraying everywhere and leaking. I occasionally pull a clone in the corners to test how must water is spraying out.

I appreciate your info about the dome. That might do the trick. The leaves constantly look like they're wilting from lack of humidity. Do you think these stems look okay? I believe you or maybe someone else I read recommended an anti-wilt spray which came yesterday and was applied today. SWIM will a couple applications of that - I'm sure it's some sort of material that coats the leaves to limit transpiration. So some of yours have taken up to a month to clone? Damn! Some strains are popping roots out and others are really not wanting to.... grrr

Well I give up for today. I’ve wired it exactly how it is on the website and I’ve watched several videos lol. If I wire just one board it lights up! But can’t get them to work together ‍♂.. but that one board that did work was insanely bright I can’t imagine both.
Are plastic washers between the screw heads and the 288 boards? If no, then one or more screw heads may have scraped off some paint and is shorting out a panel. you could loosen the screws so they don't touch the board, then see if all panels light up.

Hey there. They didn’t send any type of rubber washers to use between the screws and the boards..I did loosen the screws though. I wired it up in parallel and both boards now work. The only thing is on the HLG website they show it wiried in series which don’t work. This is sold as a kit, so I’d assume they would match the correct driver to run two QB. Is the way I have it wired in parallel okay to run that way? Here is how it is now. I have the QB 304 boards. 3862E39D-4D99-4202-A277-7CB69DF68A61.jpeg

That looks correct. The diagram on the HLG page is correct for the QB 288 kit. There are no dual board kits using the 304. There is one for the QB 324 but that does not show wiring.
The QB 288 is a 50-54 volt board, the 304 and 324 both operate at 100+ volts.

Qb324v2 are 54v boards

Are you thinking you have the 288 boards? Those are the 304 where did you order the kit from?

I ordered the kit directly from HLG. Are you saying this is not the correct driver for the board? I’m still trying to wrap my head around all this LED shit.

I'm assuming you ordered the v1 kit that says in the description that you choose the 288 or 304 board? 2100ma is too much for the 304 boards so they need to be wired in parallel. Those kits are on clearance so I would assume they only have 304 in stock. As far as washers those boards should be fine without them it's the alibaba boards you have to be more careful with.

Yes the kit was on clearance and the 288 boards were out of stock and I didn’t want to wait. So can you confirm they way I have it wired in parallel is indeed correct?

If they were V2's they would have worked in series. And the kit you posted comes with QB 288, not the 324. If they did, it was either an error or a custom upgrade. The description clearly states QB 288. The 324 kit is different and costs $100 more.



He may have the QB 324 V1; it is 100+ Volts

On that driver they wouldn't work in series anyway, the 240H doesn't provide enough voltage for 2 V1 304 or 324 v1 boards. I know, I have a 240H running QB 304 and 324 running on that driver. By running in parallel though there is enough voltage and the amperage is spilt between the number of boards. I'm running 4, QB 304 on the 240H-C2100 in parallel for about 55 watts per board

Yeah I know I was just letting him know 2100ma was to much because he said he wired 1 board up to test with one board wired up it's over the rating those old 304 have a 1400ma max. That being said they will run over their max rating it's just not recommended. His problem was solved like 5 messages ago maybe we should just move on
