That driver does hit about 300w maxed out I have 3 of them wired to 1 outlet it reads over 900w i accidentally ran it that high for like a month it didn't cause any problems each driver is on a slate 1 triple heatsink with 3 304 QB I run it around 700w now that I have a watt meter it got pretty damn hot at max power
So 250w is the best way to run it?

Just something I've been wondering about, why can't you get them to do 300w?
The drivers maximum output is 250w,If you had a bigger driver you could get them up to 300w. There have been people that have used the HLG-320h-c2800 and that would give you the maximum capabilities of the boards. I am not sure if the QBv2 boards can go up to 150w. If they are the same 18x16 boards then I come up with 140w using HLG's data.

I'll go ahead and order (2) hlg-240h-c2100a - One for each dual board. When it comes to the dimming capabilities, is the 'A' the one I should go for? Is it easy to wire up a remote dimmer so I dont have to mess with the driver directly?

The a series will go a little over Max if you unscrew the dimming screw all the way

OK. I was going to put the driver on the ceiling...I'll just find an alternate location.

Last question: Wire in series or parallel?
I always put my driver on the back of the heatsink I'll let someone else answer the series or parallel question series would be easiest with those boards and that driver I think. My boards are 100v so it's a little different for me

Yea I know, I'm using 2 of them and am only getting 550w so up to 275w from each fixture, using 1 QB v1 3000k and 1 QB v2 4000k
Shows 2.44A output

Oh yea I got ya, cause the boards need to be wired in parallel. How do you like that setup?
Yeah they are double the voltage so series won't work. I love it it's super overkill for the space but works great I have 9 boards per 4x4 it allows me to set the wattage at whatever I want an still have the spread to cover the space

The only holes that matched up to the boards were the two center ones. That was a bit of a pain. I hope that doesn't happen next time I order from HLG.

That's something to take in account, seeing as that I was about to get a double combo board this week...

Just to be clear, what I got was 2 boards with 2 single heatsinks. I don't know anything about the double length heatsinks. My guess is that the sinks I got were drilled and tapped for some other configuration. Maybe 304 or 324? There were more mounting holes than are on the QB288's.

The sinks were for the QB324. The QB324 takes 4 screws on each long side and 2 in the middle. The QB288 and QB304 take 3 on the long sides. It was probably a mistake at the packing stage.
