What's up everyone. So I'm now building a flower light for my tent. I did a veg light with 4 cree 3050s 6500k. Driven at 76.3 watts each. Each cob has its own driver. Running at roughly 44.5vdc I believe. Not 100% woukd have to check the actual voltage of the driver. The drivers ate specifically pair for each cob. All if it was given to me for free. So why not right.... inbetween the 4 cobs. I have two 75 watt led boards. 5000k running on a 150watt hlg driver. It is very bright. I have everything mounted on 1/4 thick extruded aluminium sheet. 28"×18" in a 32x32 tent. It vegges the fuck out of 12-15 plants.

Now onto the flower tent. Right now I'm running a Mars Hydro 192 reflector series. 440watt actual wall drawl. The boards have been modded. Several blue leds removed and 660nm red diodes photo red and HE red installed. Not by me. By a dude who solders computer boards for a living. Done right. It's basically a flower light. And on each side of that. I have a 300 watt bloomspect led. Actual wall drawl is 198 watts. They are shade heavy on the 5000k-6500k spectrum. Which they help with stretch. That the mars lacks.

Btw it's 24x48x65 tent.
I ordered 4 Samsung FB24B 1120mm 3500k led strips from digikey.
I'm either going to run (2) hlg240s or (1)hlg320 on all four sticks.
I found this driver and want to know what your thoughts are.
It's a HLG240-48A it's 5 amps. 240 watt. Run two strips. 2.5 amps per stick. Max I believe is 3600ma. Typ is 2250ma. So it's a tad over typ but not maxed slam out.

I will be mounting the strips on 2x2 heavy wall square tubing. With slots cut clear through 3 sides. Into a V shape the length of the tubes. To act as a heat sink. Or slots eith a miter saw set to depth so as not to cut through the bottom side the led will be mounted on. Since the strips are 3500k bc 3000k is out of stock until March 28th. And I would like to finish ehat I have flowering now with the new light. I will be running 660nm red led strips inbetween the fb24bs. And possibly a 2700k strip too if I have room. If not then just the reds.

The frame will be 45"x ??? Depending on total leds used width. Hoping to stay right around 18" wide. Or 20"
Looking at the end of the light with the 4 foot strip going away from you. I t would look something like this.

Leger:
S=FB24B
660=R
2700K=27

LIGHT SETUP #1
4x (S) 4x (R) 3x (27)

S | R | 27 | S | R | 27 | R | S | 27 | R | S

Or

LIGHT SETUP #2
4x (S) 4x (R)
S | R | S | R | S | R | S

All comment, thoughts, recommendations, and ideas welcome.

I'll work out the distances that the strips need to be separated for you tomorrow. Had brownies, joints and Amarula tonight...
