Isn't that called being a man? Oh wait it's 2017 I shouldn't assume your gender. But yeah i agree it's sometimes hard to admit your wrong but it is also a pretty rewarding experience generally when you can find the courage to do so and learn from it, people will think better of you
It can be as much about self respect as it is about what others might think if you.

As one gets older, self respect matters more. Frankly, I don't think this is reserved to just men, so maybe we shouldn't call it being a man so much as simply maturing.

I was pleased they had a small 20-25kw and 50kw turbines including all site planning, installation and servicing for a very attractive capital cost.

It would be interesting to know how much renewable energy GE products are contributing to the grid today. Then they have their nuclear division.....
This is almost tempting enough to buy land in Wyoming.

Almost.

I was recently informed by my manufacturer that GrowGreen boards have been ordered by others. In order for others to use the GrowGreen Boards Shenzehn Hansion must call me and ask my permission each time. So I know when an order is placed.

The CO-OP program has become a Success on it's own. The energy has started it can not be stopped any further. All the hate and ignorance did not and can not stop the Revolution.

You are fooling yourself if you think China is not moonlighting what they OEM for you.

Nobody is hating you or your venture, we are only calling out bullshit when it rears its head up.

And it's only called bullshit when your claims aren't defended, mostly it's been respectful until you continually fling foo foo non-science.

Have you yet measured the inrush current, current under load or voltage at load? But you have product at MFR and entering the field but we cannot have these specs... ha

That you outsource this stuff to China is sad too... yay more Chinese OEM stuff that we get to hear about how the guy lost his business because he told the Chinese how to make his product.

What revolution? You mean what Robin and Stephen started and you stole their research and found the supplier to undercut them on their hard work and research to show the samsung diode kicks ass.

You've handled your entire project like a grade A Douche. I mean you actually did design a good product but act like a real tool when it comes to any form of criticism or questions.

I was surprised to see you resurface here after the BS you write and not explain but instead call us bullies. And for someone who writes namaste a lot you have a ton of built up negative energy, maybe you should try smoking pot to relax and not get all bent out of shape when someone asks you to explain something.

Peace.

No one has a problem with your boards. They appear to be a fine product, on par with HLG and ChilLED products (and other 561C based products). We only have problems with outlandish claims of "half the energy to make the same amount of power"

Don't know what they are at today, but in 2012, they were up around 10 GW of wind capacity.

I'm sure the GE marketing department would be happy to tell us. And there's nothing wrong with that; I consider any power made with 'other than coal' to be good power these days!

Vestas built several plants here in Colorado and they ship their turbines throughout the Western States. It's cool to watch trainloads of turbine blades passing through town.

Yeah, Vestas also has some parks up here in Oregon too, Siemens has a shitload of towers on the Washington side of the gorge, and Suzlon has a bunch on the Oregon side. I once sat down and used google maps to figure out that there was well over a thousand turbines in about a 30 mile radius of Arlington were we were.

I was intrigued to find out how GE moved the tower sections in. They truck them in but there is no "trailer" to speak of. They simply attach a set of wheels to the back of it, and bolt the front to a hitch connected to the semi-tractor. The only thing holding it all together is the tower section itself.

I would think it would be plenty strong enough, considering what it has to deal with in operation.

The blades look like they'd need a bit more care, but I'm just guessing.

Since we're off topic here, I want to ask a electrical question for the experts, when i go to buy a car battery the clerks don't want to sell you a cheap one, they want to look it up and recommend a battery that is inevitably almost twice as expensive, saying that the wrong battery can damage you car. How is this possible as long as the battery is 12 volt and the recommended cold cranking amps how can there be any difference?

As long as the CCA rating is the same, it won't hurt your car, unless you need a sledgehammer to make it fit! Same CCA does not necessarily mean the same physical size.

Yeh, but as long as the battery fits or can be secured it should be ok, I had Walmart employees argue that it would hurt the car, when I asked how, they just kept telling me it was policy or it would void the warranty, no actual reasons.

There are different options for battery posts and for which side is positive. That's for the OEM drop in fit; otherwise these are minor issues, easily adapted.

Actual reason is that you would give up your right to sue, or more likely them putting themselves into a liability position by allowing you to go against the manufacturers recommendation.

Welcome to the new world of cya on everything.

Haha any explanation how it would damage your car?

No, when I asked how it would damage the electronics they just kept saying it would void the battery warranty and it was against store policy. I figure the best way to do it is buy the cheap battery and tell them you put it in the recommended car if you find out what that is! lol

There you go.

New skill requirement for DiY - identify and ignore the non-relevant recommendations that benefit others and not you.

Should we get back on topic or keep going? I finally got through all the posts now that it has been cleaned up. Even still, people are vile.
