You promised to leave and not come back last time.
Why don't you just the CO-OP you know you want to that is why you keep coming back. but you are atraid you will lose your friends Want to test a board join the CO-OP or MOVE ON.
how's that for attention?

The new boards 5000k channel 1 and 3000k channel 2 is completed and will be shipped from Shenzehn China on Tuesday expecting delivery by end of the week in the US. If anyone missed their opportunity, there can be another CO-OP if there is more interest. I will wait to hear from folks via DM or this thread. The new boards have solderless connectors, like all other boards now. Price has stabilized at the current cost of $60/200w board with solderless connectors
Cool. I get pay the frst i seen a lick i think of yrs an i wisch it wood be more different design Square than rectangular or I may be mistaken that may just be a sample that I seen a picture of

2 DIY 4 x 12 3500k/ 5000k lmc561 2 channel boards at 100 watts each in the
32" x 32" x 60" tent.
4 plants, three strains.
Strawberry Banana, Wappa and 2 phenom of Sensi Star.
20170830_125915.jpg 20170830_130208.jpg

Wappa. I've 2 phenos of this.
Got this one to try as my friend says it's super dense.
Both phenos are big plants.

20170830_125923.jpg

Sensi Star 10 year old cut.
One of the most temperamental plants I've ever grown but killer.20170830_125937.jpg

Strawberry Banana
Second run with this one .
Super strong day time smoke.
Yield wasn't too bad considering it was very gangly.
20170830_125927.jpg

Sensi Star 2 - back left.
Smashing plant for my limited height.
Doesn't need staking. Good yeilder Tight buds, good relaxing smoke.

I've set the timer for 12/12 today. Hooked up the 2 x 10 watts 660s and 2 x 10 watt 420nms.
3 to 4 weeks in this area before they get moved to the "fattening" area to finish off.
So far so good.
I'll see if I need to Jack up the wattage in a few weeks but last time in the same tent I ran 1 x Quantum Board at 100 watts and 2 x Cree cxbs at 50 watts each with excellent results.
I don't do grams per watt.
So far I am happy with the Diy MUtherFUckEr boards.

Each channel has 192 diodes dm me and I will give you the specifics

That looks like awfully poor light distribution. Why cram so many diodes on such a small area? Now the fixture needs to be moved a lot higher (incurring extra wall losses) than it would need to be if the leds were distributed properly over the area. Like with led strips or COBs.

In this case I'd say sphere data isn't enough. The extra height needed means more light is lost on the walls. You could easily lose 10% extra this way.

The meanwell hlg 185 1050ma B was recommended for 1 x board.
I'm using the A versions.
The plants are between 12" - 16" away from lights.
Wired in series
Yeah, I'm trying to avoid buying two drivers and still use the two boards in series. Might not be able to make it work...

Umm your calling these boards crap and saying what's the point of cramming tons of small diodes in a smaller space and then go on to recommend a cob which is a bunch of small diodes crammed into a small space. These are the same as running cobs. You can drive them hard and hang them higher or drive them soft and closer to the plants.

Some people don't respond well to logic. Just saying.

I'm saying the distribution of light over the area is poor yes. These are not the same as COBs, a COB for this space would be running at say 25W and you could distribute those evenly over the space and still have good air circulation. Instead of two inconvenient bright and large boards or a room crammed full of board when you try to squeeze in four.

I think you should actually have some experience before making pronouncements which are obvious bullshit to those actually using them.

fucks sake
Hahaha. Giggle. I have my own product to place from the west Frisian islands (netherlands). Knetterstoned growlightning and multicontroller. I better choose the Google way then the riu way. I dont like unnecessarly fighting. PS I dont like the copy copy copy style of Vegaswinner.

Why dont u let the Chinese people make your grow green controller with smd parts on a fancy collored pcb, vegaswinner?
I want to keep them inexpensive by using an arduino. I also make a dmx slave controller for stage lighting using a custom dmx512 shield and a rgbw slave controller with the same setup. So I do various controllers with similar code and parts keeping it simple and cost effective. Thanks for thinking of me
