lol yeah, I used to leave my tap water out for 24 hours. Then one day I ph'd it and it came up 8.7. I was getting bad ph lockout.

Thanks for the help though, +rep to ya

I just got the impression that his plant was fine, and he decided to check his ph and seen it was 7 and was gonna mess with a perfectly happy plant. Now i do check my soil if i think it's shitty. But never worried about my water. Maybe i should might get bigger plants.

Water is the easiest way to maintain your ph level. I recently had my ph meter (an expensive one) decide to go completely wonky and was showing close to a point and a half above actual levels, figured it out because the tester said 6.5 and I ph'd the run off water and it was a 5, and I just thought I had a P deficiency. Since then I've started adding some lime to my soil to counteract my tap water. Funny thing is the tap water changes over time too with it's ph. I've had gorgeous plants practically die on me, so I'm a little anal about my ph levels now lol

Ah ok. Not much I want to change but I'm going over some of it with some pm's and some suggestions people have made, don't wanna make it too complicated but I think the final product is gonna be pretty legit.

I'd give them about 1/4 strength food to start with. They are still getting good nutes from the soil.
