Hi there.

Here are the Deep Blue x Blues (or Livers) F2's.

Some fairly similar looking structures to the leaves, as I said in my journal, waiting for those big dark green fan leaves, I can see a few potentials already in this bunch, but I am happy with what has come through. These have been growing in 12/12 which I think is the closest way to get a good idea of what a plant is naturally going to grow like given the opportunity to grow in most normal weed growing time zones, that seldom have 18 hours of light. More like 12-13 hours. Anyway, I digress...the yins.

haha i dont think ive got that many deep blues seeds left lmao, maybe 20 or so iih. So i chopped the 1st pheno deep psycho (f2) the other day heres a few pics..........

i am now so is highlander. tryna was over the big pond but shit went west and i think ciny grower is too.

good drills man....ill be throwing a couple in tomorrow. any livers leaning phenos?

what happened to tryna? did i miss something?

west- is the F3 the result of the F2s breeding together or a singled out fem that gets spluffed from the original donor? or is that considered a back cross?

F2's provide a lot of varied traits. Picking the traits within the F2 phenos and crossing them to provide F3. At a certain stage (depending on strain variants / traits displayed being stable, then backcrossing to the original mother will ensure exact lookalikes of that (bearing in mind that as you develop the strain, there may also be dominant traits you may no longer want from the mother.) It's all a mind field really but I think it's about finding what you want from your cros and concentrating on trying to get that.

Tryna had a visit from some nasty peeps who stole all his stuff (he got robbed) He was on my thread so he is cool I guees, I am sure he's still pi$$ed, but he'll bounce back as well no doubt. Peace to him and to yourself LG.

PS Dug those SD and GDP seed out, put them in paper towel and in a bag and still nowt. Me finks me deaded them....boo.

well that happens with seeds haha! still should have plenty left for another round when the time comes. thats some shit that happened to tryna, i didnt know that happened and feel pretty bad for him. seems like you have the crossing down pretty well! i need to go back to my grow bible to the breeding section and find out the correct way i should go about my next generation. i guess i could even do both a back cross and some F2s to see what comes out, since i have the original spluff still. thanks for the reply buddy, hope all is well for you across the pond!

well sorry to say but he was selling drugs from his door to all and sundry, was only a matter of time cuz ppl get jelous. One of my mates got dun over for half a bar of anphet and about 600 quid the other year. Goes with the territory i spoze eh. I got shed loads of psycho killer x ?? either engineers dream or deep psycho, maybe 250 or so, i aint counted them but they fill a baggie

haha i dont think any of my chron gets a real 2 week or longer cure before it gets sampled! glad you have patience! my last crop of GDP was all gone before it even was able to have a full cure but it was damn nice either way haha. heres what im looking at so far for the SD crosses that were popped, i think one GDP as well but dont know which one it was haha. the one i singled out is looking real good and stalky so far, gotta keep my eye on it! i have two in Ocean Forest soil and they are not looking near as good as my coco ones but are not bad.

westy- definetly comes with the territory like you said but either way its not a good thing to hear about or to happen to someone. psycho killer X engineers dream may turn out to be a winner! a psychos dream!

I'm just going to pop another with a bx2 suprise that mabe come Purp. ? It was a real nice looking plant and the interesting pheno's to be found in there is too much to wait and see lol. But space is everything, and apart from elite clone's, 'what's a keeper nowaday's lol' But i'll deff. give it another go soon man!

sup 600! just wondering how you guys select your males what do you look for in a male?

i just needed a male haha! didnt care how it looked cause ill just work on getting it better by doing some F2s and such. if i had a choice it would be for good node structure, almost as if its producing a bud and short size.

I pulled two females of each strain tonight out of the small tent to breed with the males of the Papaya and the NYPD. I'm going to spluff a female Papaya with a male Papaya and then spluff a Papaya with NYPD jiz. Going the same route with the NYPD females with the hopes of getting a bunch more seeds of Papaya and NYPD as well as getting some Papaya x NYPD crossed both ways to see what traits come through in each cross.

Got my flower room almost done tonight and just got home about 20 minutes ago. I'm happy with how it's turning out and think it will work well for the long term. Wish I had thought of all this stuff when I first put it together because I could've saved myself a lot of work and time. I've got three cooltubes hung with 600s in them and the cords are all touted in a clean manner and there's ballasts hooked up to them just waiting for plants. The fourth one has to wait because it'll hang from the light rail that has the 1000 on it right now. I just need to get the second flooded tube hydro system moved over there and things will be set as well as they'll get until the plants that are sitting under the 1000 are done and chopped. There's one 10' long wall that has three cool tubes hanging along it with one of my flooded tube systems and a 3x3 flood tray under them and the other flooded tube system will go there too I think but it depends on how things go with the owner of the locval hydro shop. If things go right there will be another 3x3 going there instead so I'll then be running two flooded tube systems and two E&F systems. The 2x4 tray is coming home tomorrow to get cleaned and put to use in veg along with a modified version of the flooded tube system so I can veg plants in both systems.
