the sender name on my emails was from some place called global seed bank, but when i opened it, that is where i find the name high life at.. high life wasn't the name of the sender on my email, not sure if it was for everyone else's as well...
so nothing, try and look for that global seed bank place as well, and see if you don't have anything from them, cuz that is the high life place...

well, it sounds like that one poster was in the uk, and i know a lot of us are also in the states, so it sounds like it's not country specific from what i see on this thread.. did anyone happen to notice the date on this email?? i didn't really pay attention, and i've since deleted it, so i was just wondering when it came to must of us...
and hey nothing, i didn't notice mine either until i put into my search function on my email account high life, and that is when it came up for me.. the actual name on the email wasn't high life, it was something else.. try and do the search of high life if you have a search function for your emails..

lol, maybe you're right as i do spend quite a bit of coin over on their site.. well, maybe i should change that statement to i used to spend quite a bit of coin over there, as i don't think that they are going to be getting anymore of my business till we get to the bottom of this.. this really is bs...
i just don't understand why they would be willing to risk so much, their reputation and all, over the few quid that they have made by selling on info.. just doesn't add up to me, but that is life sometimes... 1 and 1 sometimes just equals 3, and not much you can do about it...

Attitude does have a Facebook by the way... Maybe we can post something on their wall or send them a message there.

EDIT: Nevermind, someone already did, here is their response:

Attitude Seedbank Dont open, delete and place in your spam folder. We never give away our customer emails as we are loyal to our customers.
Too many ppl tryna copy us!

Good job attitude - first you work with incompetent and hacked payment processors, now you or someone working for you is selling your contacts.
Maybe that's it, not the company itself but the finance engine of Attitude. I remember that fiasco when they were allegedly hacked.

No one is certain on the reason of this leak, i also do spend quite a bit a coin on their site . . .
I can't tell what freaks me out the most, the thing that my personal data are all around the net because of them and it's available to any1 opening a seedstore, or the fact that they didn't even mentioned anything about this on their site, so to protect others.
They lost a lot

I got mine today. I emptied the spam when I woke up and then I stumbled on this thread and checked again and it was there. I check my spam daily because I like to bait scammers. It is a fun hobby. <-----No life

I got an email as well. I live in South East Asia and they had my address and real name. The strange thing is, I never use my real name and I never use my own card. They not only used my real name, they have my address. Let me explain something, I live in an area where even Google maps doesnt have my adress. This is very surprising and concerning and I am not the paranoid type.

I have only ordered from Attitude as well.

Did a WhoIs on High Life Seeds.

Mouse over the links they provide and look up that place. I found some dirt on them. I think it is like ywmm33.net or something. I googled that and scam and found a few things about phishing.

Not me, they violated my trust.

I am also going to send an email to World of Seeds and request that they do not go through Attitude anymore. I will be buyind directly from the breeders like WOS from now on.

this is about disturbing as it gets, sounds like information has been mined and merged from multiple sources
which sounds more like a security intrusion, i'll mention that i saw the domain name was for sale, which is also on the shady side

I highly doubt Attitude was dumb enough to sell or give away their customers information to a competitor, it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Personally I think the information was stolen. If hackers can hack Sony PSN, then Attitude shouldn't be a problem

BTW, I highly doubt WOS will stop using Attitude over this but good luck

Can we all at least agree that Attitude is the 'source' of this information leak? Not saying they let it happen intentionally, but for very many reasons, they are the 'source'.

Don't be naive. This is a very common practice.

Attitude sold our information for a little extra profit. Someone in Attitudes main office made a bad decision.

It's truly is that simple.

They will end up firing someone, publicly announcing it, apologize, people will soon forget and then its business as usual.

Seen it happen too many times to count.

You heard it here first.

I would also like to add, that yes, WOS will stop using Attitude as a distributor if they stop getting money from 1000's of us.
