I dont see why people even order from attitude that place is whack
Highlife seeds scam? Or is Attitude starting to "sell" our private info?

well, i don't see how anyone can argue that point crypt as it seems that the only thing that everyone who has gotten these emails has in common is ordering from the attitude, and that is it, other than belonging here of course, but riu doesn't have any addy's for any of us here, so that leaves one culprit in my eyes...
now, i'm not saying that they did in on purpose, but it has definitely stemmed from the attitude in one form or another..

good luck with an international lawsuit with what damages? What has this cost you?? People are so paranoid...ATTENTION MOST COMPANIES SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO EACH OTHER!!! IT IS NOT ILLEGAL!!! relax people ..is it ethical ?? No...is it illegal, no....the only recouse you would have is in their privacy statement...if it was violated then the most you have is a contractorial litigation action which in this case will not even cover the cost of filing it.......It isn't that big of a deal...how do you think all those spam messages you get got your address?

There is really only one solution. It's the one thing that we can all do to hurt them and teach them a lesson.
BOYCOTT.
We need to start a thread, and tell everyone to BOYCOTT Attitude until we get some answers. Let's face it, nobody NEEDS to order from Attitude, we just like to because of their selection. But there are plenty of other reputable seed banks. Just because they are the biggest doesn't mean they don't have to play by the rules.
BOYCOTT ATTITUDE SEED BANK FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF MAY. NO PROMO ORDERS, NO NOTHING.
I guarantee you, they will not only respond to us, they will beg us to come back. Nobody order this weekend, nobody order until June. You can all wait a few weeks to scratch that itch.

In short (since you missed it above), Attitude said they would not sell our information. They lied. We don't like it. We are boycotting Attitude.

A seedbank you all dealt with probably got pinched by the DEA and rolled on all thier american customers if only americans recieved the emails.Anyone from across the pond get those emails?Same kinda shit went down when Marc Emery got popped.Everyone was blaming Emery for selling contact info and turned out it was leo.I'm sure none of you all were stupid enough to have your seeds mailed to your unsafe addy.There are some seedbanks with big balls and small brains that advertise GUARANTEED WORLDWIDE SHIPPING.

i agree 100% maximus.. money talks, and so does lack of money.. hit them where it hurts, like they hit us where it hurts.. for us growers, i can't think of anything that tops the list over security and our privacy, which pretty much go hand and hand.. and i don't know what tops the list for any business other than money.. every single business is open only for one thing, to make money.. so if we were all to band together and boycott them at least until we got some kind of answers, and maybe even after then, it would surely hit them where it counts the most for them, right in their pockets...

Nobody was busted. If it was the DEA, people would be in prison, not getting offers from other seed banks. Either Attitude was hacked, our info was stolen, or they sold our info. Hacking wouldn't make sense either because it would be the stupidest thing a new seed company could do to get our business. Selling our info would also be stupid since we would all figure it out and stop using them. Stolen makes the most sense.
But this doesn't excuse them. When other companies had the same thing happen, they were sued. We can't sue, and nobody would anyway. But we CAN stop spendingour money there.
I will not be placing an order after all tomorrow, and if you have any balls and can stick by your convictions, you'll join me. Stop being the stupid lazy stoners that the world thinks you are and do something about this. Post it on every board, tell everyone you know that grows. DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS. There are plenty of other reputable seed banks out there. Sannies, Trichome Kings, Cannaseur, Nirvana just to name a few. Everyone, go there, but do not let this go. Continuing to support them without an explanation and proof of assurance of what will be done to ensure this never happens again is not cool!

Had to chuckle when I found this thread. I also got an email today. Title was "Your seed order #37189". Obviously never heard of these guys so I knew it was bullshit. I've only ever ordered ever from Nirvana and Attitude.
The link in the mail for some of their seeds is (http://t.ymlp33.net/emadahwbaoawsyarayquuw/click.php) which to me looks like a malformed URL which could lead to some sort of malicious site. Additionally, the graphic they use in their mail uses the same font as Attitude does. The site itself looks like an attitude ripoff. Also the mail I got came from a gmail address which seems odd since if it were a business they'd (likely) use [email protected] type of address. Domain was registered back in late 2010.
My guess is that either a disgruntled employee left attitude and stole customer data on their way out in order to start their own company or Attitude was hacked and customer data compromised.
Regardless of the situation, I'll be ignoring the mail and blocking it's source...

i know of 2 people that order from attitude and arent on riu, they said they didnt get any seedbank spam...so maybe you have something there...
