So I spent a few hours yesterday trimming and hanging my first harvest (one plant). I'm pretty happy with the results. I think I'm going to end up with about 1.5-2 ounces dry. My buds are hanging in the flower box with the exhaust fans running. Since it's winter now and the heat is on in my...
So I just finished harvesting my first grow (single plant). Now I'm left with this nice pile of trim that I want to dry before I make butter with it. What's the best way to dry this stuff? I was thinking about putting it in a colander and leaving it in the bottom of the box I'm drying the...
Finally... today is chop day. I'll be cutting down my one plant today. Grown from bagseed in soil with ~250 watts of CFL. She ended up getting pretty freakin big and the buds look real tasty, which is surprising because the seed came from some stuff that was really not that great...

There's some pics from about a week ago. She has a lot more red pistils now but still a little too much white... and the buds are bigger :D I'll post more once I chop.
Nice ol bud - Funny to see you post...
There's lots of books out there. Check out "buds for less". It's a step by step guide to growing with CFLs and it's mostly pics without a ton of text so it's a quick, easy read. That's how I got started.
My one plant is one week from harvest and almost all of her large fan leaves are yellowing and making a claw shape. The yellowing started at the bottom of the plant and has worked it's way up but the top few leaves are still green. The buds look healthy and the sugar leaves are still green but...
I'm planning to let her go for at least another week because there's still a lot of white pistils and I haven't seen any sign of amber trichs. Plus there's still bud development underway. Every day they swell a little more. The wait is killing me though :wall:
I'm starting a 2 week flush before I chop my first girl. I'm curious if I should be ph'ing the water right now. I water with distilled water that's right at a 7 ph. My thought is that if the point of flushing is to reduce the chemically taste from the nutes then wouldn't the ph chemicals...
Here's my first. One plant, grown in soil surrounded by about 250 watts of CFLs. This was about 6.5 weeks into flower. She's a little over 7 weeks now and will be chopped in about a week and a half.
Main cola (the leaves got into the lights a couple times)
Other bud sites (There's...
