Will 1 of these run on an hlg120 1400 I ordered a board assuming it would but it looks like the voltage is to high?

I don't think these boards are meant to take over the COB "grow" light industry. They are kind of tailored more for growing in a lot of respects. QBs are COBs just in a different format.

hlg120 1400 will max out at around 800-900mA. It does not have enough voltage for 1 board.
hlg120 1400 will run at full power with 2 boards.

Ok so I'd have to wire 2 in parallel to max it out? Whats the best driver to run these at 1400ma each

Ok so you wire 2 boards in parallel an they run at 75w 700ma each for the hlg120 1400? And the hlg320 2800 you do the same thing for double the wattage? I think I need to buy a couple hlg320s

...except they aren't. They do everything a COB does, only more efficiently and at many useful drive currents can operate without any more heat sink than an aluminum plate. The third strike is their light distribution footprint, and the new boards are the clear winner.

Were you able to see the boards in person/action ? They are insanely bright and I can't wait to get the two I have built and in my tent.
