What LED to get?

Good call, I forgot about A51's upgradability.
If you do end up grabbing lights from both companies, do some grow journals on here for us to follow.
Good luck.
For sure. Im as excited as the rest of you. Thanks man!

You're the only one who has.
Everybody else around here, who has tried any iteration of the Magnum Plus series, has not been happy with them.
Have any pictures of your grow?
I have read same thing as well. If anyone is going to share an experience, please include what you're basing it on thanks.

I have read up on leds for awhile now, that's why i have it narrowed down to A51 or AT. As for the BML being 4 in away, thats why im looking into lights with secondary lenses according to my third sentence of first post. But as you said Pet, ignorance is one thing and laziness another ;)

Thanks for links guys, PSU put me up to speed though

In a 2x4. I would use either two 190s or 150s(or one of each like I'm about to do)or 4 -75s. I did one xgs over a 2x3 with good results, little over 6.5oz. The case on the xgs doesn't seem to get warm at all. I have never noticed it feels generally cool to the touch. My 17W led floods run much hotter. I have a rw 150 that arrives today so could tell if it operates the same temperature wise. And the xgs is also very quiet. That's about all I have to offer. LOL
just curious why all white over red white? besides personal preference, have you noticed anything? Sweet man, lemme know what you think of it! Naw dont worry man i appreciate the info! Idk why people get pissed when others ask questions. I thought the point of these forums is to ask questions and discuss lol I guess it takes up valuable thread space? lol idk ppl can be anal about stupid stuff

I've been going for all white on the main light and add some of the bells and whistles. I like to add deep red and UVB to fill out the spectrum and 730 nm.

I have a couple friends that grow cuts I've given them under HPS and they told me my same cut is stronger and the high lasts longer so I think it's worth it.

I bought the all white one first because it was the newest thing and I had faith in it after all my searching. Now I want to see if I can really notice anything else with the extra red. I've red it can do some good things.

completely understand. I have no doubt the all white can produce, but im with ya on the possibilities to better it.

that's not a very good sales tactic.
I'm not selling anything

I received BML Horticulture lights in exchange for reporting- which I assure you will be honest reporting

The lights will speak for themselves

Onyx grow by rapid led.
I bought 6, I'd buy another 6 if I needed them.
Reasonably priced , top notch components and an all around decent panel with great customer support.
They run them a little hard but then maybe that's why the results are good and they can keep the price reasonable.

That's an understatement :fire:.....................has the driver issue been fixed or did they just lower the output??

Hmmmmm.....A51, Hans and Apache leds are all pretty highly reccomended - and proven!. Just a little FYI about those BMLs that Petflora is sellig - Only one grow on RUI (that i know of) so far and they harvested <100grams (pretty average...possibly less than average perfomance)...........sooooo I'm not sure if I would be willing to drop $1000 on something like that when there are proven perfomers out there as well.
Of course your best bang for buck is a DIY job, but if it is not for you then I would go with something that you know will work....
