That's true. The ppm settled at 1070 so I think I'm gonna see how it does there and they should be fine. I'm stoked they're all starting to open up finally.

I snapped a couple pics right when the lights came on and they're coming along really well. I upped my ppm to just over a 1000 and added koolbloom last Friday when I did my res change. Should start seeing the last bit of growth upward in the next week or two.

Looking good newby! I love the start of flower where you really start to see the girls potential. How are you liking the flood setup? It seems to be treating ya well so far.

Thanks man, they're coming along. Today is the first day of week 3 flower. The growth spurt should stop and hopefully will see some big time bud growth. The flood set up is so simple, it's my favorite growing method and I'm deff gonna stick to this for my future grows. I tried soil in my first grow before this and I didn't know a whole lot so I'm sure that had something to do with it but flood and drain to me is really simple. I should have some more pics up later.

Oh man, hard to tell from the slighly out of focus pic but it certainly does look like little nuts to me! Hope that's not one of your GSCs! Try and get a better pic then we'll know fo sho.

I thought thy were too, I pulled it last night and replaced it with two purple diesel plants. Unfortunately it was one of my GSC :/ but now I have one GSC, 5 purple urkle and two purple diesels so hopefully they finish around the same time but we'll see.

Yeah I've heard from this forum that the cali connection gsc has hermie issues. Even if you look on cali connections website they don't even have gsc on there site.....hmmmm makes you wonder.

That's really odd that they do that. Luckily it was only one of my two that herm'd on me so not too bad. Anyone know why the leaves around my bud sites would be wilting like this? My ppm and ph and temps are correct, they just started doing this two days or so ago. Any ideas?

Maybe calmag would help??!? I really don't know what to do or what to give them. I can't lose these after losing my other GSC plant

I have not. Do you think I should put some in there and see how they react? I lowered my feedings to 10 min each instead of 20 cause I think they were getting too much water and I can bump it back up a tad if I have to.

Today is day 19 of flower and the GSC is coming along quite well, getting super super crystaly all over and even already coating all the leaves! I can't wait for this girl to finish.

Hi Newby,
Read this thread...puts things in perspective. You mentioned leaving your air pump off. That was back when you were using 20 minute floods? That certainly could stress your roots. If you want to up your feedings...keep them at 10 minutes but maybe add a couple more floodings. Read AlBFucts E&F threads...he's the local expert. I modeled my grows after his 6 years ago when I met him on an Aussie forum. he's been at it awhile and uses very short floods.

Regarding hydroton. I personally like it and use it. But I wouldn't put the plants in bags. If you move them around..it can traumatize roots. I just like rigis pots more. And I also don't put in the extra hydroton surrounding the pots. Not needed really and just complicates things. You can cut a square of panda plastic with a hole in the center and slit so you can insert it around the plant covering hydroton. Solved stuff growing on the rocks. And if you use clones and the same strain only...it really simplifies things. Just a few things to think about for the future.
Cheers,
JD
