I have something similar that I got at the hydro store and it's supposed to be pretty strong. It took all of it out than it came back a little and is coming more so I'll add some more this weekend. Moving air on the lids?
Ah gotcha. Hopefully those were the only ones.

Things are going good, plants are really loving the hydro and I am becoming a very big fan of it myself. The only problem I've been having is I can't get the green slime off of the hydroton. image.jpg

I'm thinking of flipping to flower since the two GSC are getting so big but don't want to end up with 5 tiny purple urkles. You guys think I should give it another week or two? I'd like to get a nice yield from the 7 but don't want two massive plants taking up the whole tray. How much will they all stretch once flipped do you think?!?

Picture update!
Plants are still exploding with growth. I got my ph at 5.8 and ppm at 615. Temps stay between 70 and 76 day/night with humidity ranging from 50-65ish. I super cropped them and topped them for the final time last night.

I flipped them two days ago and have seen quite a bit of growth in the short time. I raised my ppm's to around 850. Is that ok for them? In the 12 hour schedule I have them feeding 5 times for 15 min each, my table takes 8 min to flood so it's only about 7-8 min of true watering. Any thoughts?

Subbed...looking good my man. Funny I have 5 cali connection gsc in veg that I'm going to flip to 12/12 in about 10 days or so. I'm using dutch masters nutes but I'm going to switch to canna nutes.

Thanks! It's a new learning experience with the hydro as I'm used to outdoor. Oh nice, they getting pretty big? Mine have stretched so much in the last two days since I flipped them. Why switch nutes? I've been using general hydro nutes and they seem to be doing fine. I just have grow, bloom and koolbloom, I may add a grape type enhancer too since I have 5 purple urkles and the GSC has some purp in it.

I'm having issues with DM nutes with my ppm rising in my current gsc and my almost done purple wreck ( growing 5 of them, 2 of them have purple pheno from the purple urkel side). My plants seemed to be drinking more water than nutes. So I want to try out canna lime since it's sitting om my shelf along with house of garden nutes for my current coco grow.

Like they're rising day by day? Other than that are they growing nicely? If you already got it than might as well give it a shot and see how it does. I had my ppm raising on me in veg but I think it stopped. My plants don't seem to be up taking enough nutes so I'm gonna get some root riot or subculture-m by gh and see if I can get em to uptake more.

Just hit week two of flower and already got hairs coming out and hopefully will see little puff balls within the next week or two. Bumped the light to 100% (600 watts) from 75% (450 watts) and the plants are loving it.

Newbie. Purple maxx is great. I have used it several times. I start when I begin flowering all the way to clearing. Keep nutes low(cut in half 1st to see) as it will cause a massive nutrient uptake. It stacks the THC. And does have a tendency to help purple some plants.

Awesome, I hadn't heard anything from anyone yet lol. I'm doing hydro though so I read that it will cause a lot of problems and that I should foliage feed with my sprayer. Were you using it in soil or hydro? I really wanna get that deep purple in my plants.

Newby what are your grow room temps like? I remember reading an article about how ken Estes grows his grandaddy purple, when in flower they keep the grow room relatively cold as colder temps in flower bring out all the wicked colors you see in the purple strains. I wanna say he was running temps in the high 50's to really being out those deep purple hues. Do a little research into it, it was a high times article, I betcha can find it on their website.

During the day they're 72-78*F and night when the lights are on I try to keep it between 65-72*F to try and bring out some of the purple. I don't think my Girl Scout cookie would like it that cold but they've been doing well at low 70s and high 60s. Here's a pic of two of my purple urkles and one of my GSC. Can you see the very little yellowing at the urkles tips? Any ideas? First and second pic is urkle and last of my GSC.

And also I've had my ppm between 850-950. Should I keep it around there or bump it up? I was gonna do a water change today before the lights go out in just over two hours.

It says 1000-1200 ppm and mine said 930 this morning so I guess I could bump it up. Do you think that could have something to do with it?

Pic update.
I believe today is day 10 of flower and they're really coming along. With this only being my second indoor and first hydro grow I'm feeling pretty good with how they look. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
