purple urkle and gsc grow

I've never done jillybean, but check out javadog's thread in indoor growing. He's done it before.

First picture is from the first day I put the girls in the tent and second is at 11 days. This strain grows fairly quick from what I'm seeing and should be a fun grow. I'm ready to smell the citrus that everyone says this plant puts off.

Today is day 4 of 12/12 and they've shot up almost 5 inches since I flipped. Anyone know when the stretch stops on jilly bean?

Day 8 of 12/12 and these girls have gotten huge! I think I'll end up having to tie them down. Is it normal to grow 12" in the first 6-8 days of flower? It didn't seem like my last grow grew quite this quickly.

I thought thy were too, I pulled it last night and replaced it with two purple diesel plants. Unfortunately it was one of my GSC :/ but now I have one GSC, 5 purple urkle and two purple diesels so hopefully they finish around the same time but we'll see.

im currently running purple diesel can I ask you a question did you flower for 9 or 10 weeks I lost all my info on these plants any help would be great thanks man

My last grow was 16 purple diesel instead of tossing those couple clones in. They grew very well, I vegged for like 2.5-3 weeks and I wish I would of done 5ish. They didn't get as tall as I would of liked but I wanna say they were 8-9 weeks, I'll have to check my log tomorrow and I can let you know for sure.

thanks man currently I have four PD that im working with I veged for about 3.5 weeks and flowing a week and a half already my grow space isn't too big and im not looking for a huge yield this is my first grow lol as of right now tho my tallest plant is a inch short of 2 ft so im curious how much more it will stretch in flower my other big lady is more busy then stretched but yea man I read your stuff on PD an figured maybe you could let me know some info and little tricks lol anyway thanks for your time man stay irie

I noticed that they didn't stretch very much at all for me, I was trying to keep them smaller and do more but I've learned that I prefer fewer bigger plants. PD didn't yield like people or websites say it does, I got a lid less than expected. My jilly now has just about reached 40" which is my max height before having to tie them down cause the light is as high as it goes. I'll get a pic up tomorrow, I think it's like day 17 of 12/12 or something.

total noob question what is a lid? mine have started stacking its buds seem like there are some decent spots where there could be flower growth so ill just have to see they are only 15 days into flower heres a few pics I took 2 or 3 days ago since then the stacking has started on all them

In this case I think lid = little. Your plants look really healthy KD 87. You can expect them to stretch for a good 10-15 more days. If you let them get a little more mature In veg, they start to flower even earlier....looks like you've had a good 2 week transition period once you flipped to 12/12.

yea that's what I figured lid meant just wanted to double check lol and yea I wanted to veg a little longer but my space is limited so I had to stop at about a foot then switch I have plans on getting a tent for my next grow this is my experiment run lol and thank you they have had it pretty easy lol I started my tallest one on nuts the other day seen a little change but im sure a couple more days it will deff show and they seemed to like the switch from 24/0 to 12/12

Ya I meant little, typing a little too quickly. Those plants are looking great man, what strain are you running? The girls have started filling in quite a bit, I believe it's like day 24 or so. Temps are staying kinda high though, around mid 80's later in the day but they seem to not mind the heat. I've heard Jilly likes it a little warmer. Anyone know if that's true or not?

Today is day 33 of 12/12, should be over the half way mark by now. They're really starting to put on the weight and smelling soo soo good.

What up Newbyduby: congrats on ur urkel harvest!!! this new grow looks promising too! nice work dude.... i kno i had asked you a while back re:your feeding schedule(flood and drain schedule), you mentioned 6x a day for 13 mins of flood time during 12/12... Just curious, how’d you figure out that flooding your table once every 4 hours would work out? i was thinking it would need to be closer to once every 1hr or 2 max? you think thats over feeding? again, nice work and happy growing!
