Outdoor Bud Quality

I get where your comming from with the light spectrums but when people are using the high quality HPS lighting like i do at $120 a bulb switching twice a year, you cant compare. but, outdoor is the best for a new grower looking to get a bang for his buck and start an indoor grow :)))
you can NOT produce the same quality outside as inside. When you say "doing it right" that means conditions for each place being at its best. You cant control co2, nor humidity, nor temp outside. Unless you do a greenhouse and then your just admitting the facts that you need indoor adjustments to produce the same quality. do whatever you do outside with your soil inside and see whats better. I grow veganically, and outdoor stuff i see is poop in comparison. To many outdoor growers trying to pass off their shit as meds. Its pathetic to me.
The FUCK I can't! (counting to 10 and sitting on fingers) Young man, you have much to learn and to make blind across the board statements like that only serve to show your inexperience.

Indoors may create bud that may have more "bag appeal". It may be more dense .....BUT, I gar - un - fucking - tee, I can beat your best indoor in total THC/Terp in testing for the next 10 years (most likely longer) with my personal outdoor runs..........HPS don't the dope make! Hell, son I know people around here who will shock you to the core with Floro lighting and the quality it can deliver! While it's indoor,,,,,you won't beat their tested totals either....

For awhile,,,,in Cali,,,,,If it wasn't outdoor.....many Disp. wouldn't buy it!!!

And hydro ain't answer either! Faster is the only bennie and I can get so close to matching yields it's not worth the water to run hydro.

Michigan is not an excuse to not be able to do good outdoors.

The Sun still trumps any available artificial lighting......PERIOD!
Why do you think they try so hard to copy it?

Right...right........sorry......I just couldn't take that across the board slam to nature. :cuss:

I do 99.98% of everything I do indoors.....I keep some for myself. Yet after decades of growing, I still do outdoor runs every year for my personal stash.......Now, I wonder why??? lol...

I serious LOL at the remarks people make. Is it that you really think the inconsistency of the conditions outdoor could match? Its great you all accept the fact "bag appeal" and density are better Indoor. But in reality the most your getting is a little bit more terpenoid profile from the sun. The conditions of the plant being in perfect setting at all times WILL MOST DEFINITELY effect its potency. Forget that stoner science BULLSHIT. Learn about the limiting factors of marijuana and the actual light output of the sun. your raging, no facts.

I live in Michigan.

I grew GG4 outdoor and indoor this year. Outdoor wins hands down. Way stinkier, more terpenes, more greasy, etc.

Even my shitty littlest outdoor plant was killer bud, better than what I can find in a dispensary around here...

Outdoor all the way!

You're confusing "control" with "quality". There's no straight path to great bud. You can't just turn a dial marked "best bud ever". I think you're also confusing "stoner science" with real world experience.

Try putting the ego aside and listen a little. You may just learn something from people who've been doing this for decades and become a better grower.

I dont give my patients bud infested, web covered crap. I give them high quality meds. Here i closed in and pointed out your webs. View attachment 3386777
That could be a web from a mite, more than likely a web from another species of spider, can you tell the difference? Tough to get everything when you average 7lbs a plant. I see no mite damage if any kind in that picture. No sprayed on chemicals here, I'd rather smoke a mite or two than the shit you spray on your indoor plants. Do you think the mites stay as the bud dries? I doubt it.
Good luck bud,
TMB-

confusing control with quality? Im saying quality of conditions will produce quality of bud! Thats simple.

Bud infested with webs and bugs. Have fun giving that to the people you care about. Shit i spray ? hahaha. Now your assuming. My ego is to produce MEDICINAL quality for MEDICAL patients. i grow medicine that is vegan and organic. Tested for bugs, mold and have done a heavy metal analysis! its a joke people would rather use a med card as an excuse to grow crap.

I have grown many different strains both indoor and out. Clones from the same mother.

It is true that in-ground plants are more susceptible to damage from harsh conditions (pounding rain, hail, strong wind etc.)
I like to grow some of my outdoor plants in containers which can be moved indoors for protection from potential damage.
I have grown plants outdoors in the NE US and South Florida.
I think that the outdoor plants are more potent.
