Outdoor Bud Quality

That looks like silk from a "real" spider or possibly hyphae from a weak fungus. Neither of which is detrimental, at this point. Spiders are good. Spider mites are different.
that's right .I battled the plain old 2 spotted mites for years ....that's just a normal web he wouldn't have frost like that if it was mites of any kind ya?

I live in the Bay Area in CA and I've been to literally hundreds of dispensaries with the best weed you can find, and I have never seen an outdoor strain be the highest testing thc % it's always indoor every time. I personally prefer to grow outdoor but if you talking quality obviously ID is better

Ideally, outdoor should be better than indoor regarding both taste and potency... that is to say when it is done RIGHT. There are just so many terrible outdoor growers out there that it has made people believe that indoor is inherently better. Don't believe it.
I agree with you

How can a light bulb that was built to try and emulate the sun, be actually better than the sun? Top notch weed is a grower thing, not an environmental thing, the human hand always intervenes, either indoor or outdoor. High THC percentages is something, but it's not all there is to growing, at least for me. I'm not part of the medicinal movement though, I also don't care about the commercial aspect of my so called "product". Artisanal is my way.

IMO indoor weed is going to be superior. You can provide it the best growing environment and control everything it gets. You cannot do that outdoor. In addition, indoor weed should have better bag appeal since it is not exposed to the elements.

There is a reason that indoor bud goes for a high price than outdoor.

Because it costs a shit load more to produce!

I agree that outdoor rarely tests highest, but I would argue that it more than makes up for it in other ways. I also live in the bay area, and my biggest problem with the dispensaries is that it's too hard to find outdoor grown stuff, but I feel it is due to bias rather than a real reflection of quality, real high quality sun grown weed is, in my opinion, the best of the best, and I pick outdoor over indoor whenever I can. In my experience, indoor looks better, outdoor tastes better and hits better. Plus, outdoor CAN test very high when grown with care, here are 3 examples of outdoor weed that all tested above 27%. http://sclabs.com/sample-detail.html?id=101886, http://sclabs.com/sample-detail.html?id=101883, http://sclabs.com/sample-detail.html?id=100392

I honestly think the BIGGEST thing that creates the bias is that Indoor week HAS to cost more because it is more expensive to produce, and people naturally associate higher costs with superior product, even when that really isn't the case.

How do you figure it costs so much more to produce outdoor vs indoor? I think people way over think the cost to grow indoor.
