Yea I'm 4th generation here in Santa cruz ... This place has changed a whole lot... 30 years ago there was no such thing as a traffic jam in Santa cruz . Now it takes an hour to get 10 miles across town in rush hour

Indoor costs more, not outdoor. Indoor you have to pay for lights and electricity, outdoor you get that free. Even when you're flowering and the light cycle is the shortest, it is still like $50+ per month per 1K watts, even more during veg, so if you're growing anything large scale that adds up fast. Then add in fans and filters, which is an upfront cost + electricity + replacement when the filter wears out. Then add in environmental control, AC or heating, dehumidifying, etc. Then add in space, since no matter how you cut it indoor space is more expensive per square foot than outdoor space. As a matter of fact, this may, in the long run, be where the biggest savings are to be had. A small house or warehouse is much more expensive than several undeveloped acres. All in all it adds up to indoor having a significantly higher operating cost than outdoor.

I remember growing up my grandma always referred with fondness to the fact that Santa Cruz is a "10 minute town", meaning that no matter what time of day, it only takes 10 minutes to get where you're going. No kidding bro i think people are just broke, and are looking for easy cash when they grow outdoors. Real indoor set ups cost a lot to start up but not to maintain. Ive run 10k+ watts flowering for the last 2 years. my yearly expenses are about 30 grand and thats new bulbs, dirt, nutes, co2 all that. And i produce at minimum a lb a week. Seems fair to me?

atleast its chemical and bug free with several test in my name to prove it. they test EVERY batch of bud i give them, along with everyone elses. Some of us are doing this shit right.

Did you buy a property or rent one? Pay someone to drill a well for you ? Buy bulk smart pots put up greenhouses ?buy thousands of yards of soil to fill it all up ? Pay for labour to come in.and help and also trim at the end of season ?

I own multiple homes. I own a concrete business thats what i do for a living. I understand hard work and putting effort into what i do. I dont cut corners.
