LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

Some DIY seed porn, not finished picking through the PPP x Blueberry (L1) buds but pulled a decent stash already. Some of these seeds are monsters in comparison to commercial seeds. 2 different Blueberry male pollen donors, crossed with JTR fem (Blue Ripper) and PPP fem (Blue Power Plant). Have 1 of each pollen donor coming up in early veg and all looking like fems, will select the best of each to grow out once I'm 100% sure they're fems but not much doubt from what I saw this morning.

Thanks Mo, the pheno search begins Will definitely double check those and particularly that second one, thanks for the input.

That's awesome a triploid, the JTR pollen I have some crosses with was a twin but haven't seen one of these triplets yet, sweet!

@GroErr It is from one of the MOJOS seeds that fell off and grew in the pot! MOJOS is Mo's Jesus OG (JOG) x Scott's OG (SOG). Hyroot named it!

The pollen that plant was exposed to includes LoveChild (Mulanje x Ace of Spades), MK Ultra, Plushberry, and Jilly Bean!

It is going to be interesting. I might bring it inside and nurture it a bit more. What do you think?

Hi Indiana, those are Blueberry crosses, BC Bud Depot's Blueberry. I had grabbed a reg 10 pack to grow and cross. I like the Blueberry line, ran variations of it outdoor for years. First two seeds in that pack were males and haven't popped any more since I collected that pollen, 8 more to go

Nice, that Mojos sounds awesome, I'd be babying that triplet for sure, I like mutants an would be interesting to see if that trait comes through in crosses. I have to pop some of the JTR pollen crosses from that twin male and see what pops, the male was outstanding, should produce some nice offspring. Cheers.

A couple from the archives... The last camshot is when it first popped, top-right cup you can clearly see the two distinct "seedlings" from a single seed. When it first happened I did a couple of inventory checks to make sure I hadn't screwed up. When I potted up out of the party cup you could clearly see that they popped from the same seed.

Don't remember specifically rubbing the stems, right through veg from about 5 weeks on it had a strong lemon scent, touching the leaves would leave a strong lemon smell that stuck with you for a while. It had a stronger scent than any fems I pulled since that run. One of the JTR x Blueberry phenos I have in veg now has that strong lemon smell, definitely came through from the JTR side and has been there from about 4 weeks out of the shell, could be that one you're thinking is a male? I kind of hope one of those coming up IS a male, I'll hold it until the tent is available and collect it's pollen for crossing back later.

One of the Jesus OG phenos had that strong lemon pine sol fuel smell. The terpenes in the TGA strains are amazing!

You know, I've heard the odd trashing of TGA but after getting some great JTR phenos and trying/seeing some AoS that my son was growing I'm liking their gear. The JTR pheno I'm currently running has an incredible mix of lemon/pine smell and taste, when it's been cured for 3 weeks or so, anyone I've shared it with is coming back asking if they can buy some, commenting on how great it smells/tastes. I couldn't grow enough of it if I were in this for the cash. Will definitely be trying some of their others at some point, just have way too many seeds/strains right now. I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more until I grow at least one of the 15+ seed strains I have in my stash - well see how long that lasts - lol

tga has really good strains and some ok ones. Plushberry is ok. Quantum kush and 9 lb are ridiculous. The plush berry took a much longer cure for the flavor I like to come out. I'm not to partial to citrus strains in general. The kushy and cherry strains I do like very much

I have 2 marrionberry kushes from seed coming up. They're still in veg but going into flower in a week.. Everyone says that strain oozes trichomes. its very colorful.

That marionberry sounds like something to try My next 2 rounds and likely more are strain/pheno hunts, looking for something different, a balanced sat-indy hybrid, have 5 DIY crosses to try, hoping find something in there. The search is half the fun

i am a huge fan of the TGA flavors as well. i had a friend who was
a TGA seed junkie, i've sampled a lot of their older stuff and i love it.
there was also a local guy who was a seed tester for sub, got to
sample a lot of different varieties from that crew also. looking at the
list on seedfinder's website, i think i've had 15 different tga varieties lol.

unlike hyroot though, i am a citrus freak. i used to run a lemon strain,
an orange strain, and a blue moonshine cut that tasted like grapefruit,
all at the same time.

a lot of the subcool strains i have had were very citrusy, come to think
about it.

there is an agent orange pheno that tastes like an orange tictac, but
the potency just isn't there. the agent orange pheno i grew was more
of an orange peel flavor, but it had a crazy chemmy funk like you were
burning tires, just loud as fuck. qleaner was fucking incredible, potency,
yield, and flavor wise; grapefruit, black pepper, and a skunk's ass.

i really wanna try some chernobyl, gimme that lime!

that's awesome. Actually I don't like the orange and tangerine strains. I do like lemon flavors. I really like super lemon haze and jack the ripper. I have had some jilly I like. I'm not sure of the lime flavor. I've had some lime flavored hash I didn't like. Some grapefruit I liked and other grape fruit I didn't. I just really don't like the orange flavors.

yeah my old grow partner hated citrus, but loved diesels and
OGs, which i hated. made for fun times when we were trying
to decide what varieties to grow, lol.

if you like lemons, you gotta check out Lemon G. you will never
find a strain that more accurately represents its name.

i know there are a few dispensaries that stock her in CA and CO.
they say on the description that she doesn't yield well, but we
were pulling 3 dry pounds from a 1kw HPS.

i have always searched for a lime pheno and a coconut pheno.
have smoked lime herb once, some outdoor Malawi from norcal,
and wow, Malawi is some serious sativa for my spaz ass. had a
coconut pheno pre 88 g13 x hash plant but she wouldn't clone for
shit and i lost her.

I like all the lemon/fruit strains but I have to keep changing them up, too easy to get blah about strains if you run them too long without some change ups. Tried to get a lemon-kush by crossing JTR with Platinum Bubba Kush but the first 2 seeds I ran were males and didn't have space so got culled. Too bad cause the pheno was awesome kush/earthy smell and taste. Will run a few more at some point, if JTR passes on lemon-pine smell/taste could be a good mix but if JTR doesn't pass any PM resistance to it they'll be culled quick. PM sucks.

I have a AOS week 5 flowering the smell is nuts, like sweet pink lemonade and just pulled a deep purple also from subcool think sour grapes smashed on the sidewalks lol. Point is every subcool strain I've run has been way tasty and terpine heavy, yield is not concern for me just the ride, nice thread Cheer's
