I started using flax seeds in teas as a substitute for fish emulsion. I'm gonna try a top dress with it after the clones are transplanted.
Really?....damn...I didn't think it was worth a damn....have u SEEN good results since using it....I went fishing and carried a bucket to keep ally fish in half full of water to pour on my plants when I got home but I got scared a fucking coon would tear them up getting intoy pots

Yeah I'm in uk and it's from a website called The Natural Gardener, these are the links for the stuff I get from them http://www.thenaturalgardener.co.uk/neem_natural_fertilizer.php
http://www.thenaturalgardener.co.uk/seaweed_granules.php

It's definitely the best stuff available here, I also use this site for predators and nematode
Great find!
The specs on it look awesome. The oil holds most of the Azidiractin hence why we make and use it.. So after that generous share is taken out the leftover seed of nice healthy clean neem meal should test around 1000 ppms. Which this brand obviously does. What's the sulfur rating? It's covered up by the date stamp lol.

Be careful with Nematodes and neem, I've seen tests that Neem diminishes nematode populations dramatically.

So it really doesn't need to cook into your soil if it's made available so fast correct.....and just for the sake of it, incase I can't get any ordered before I mix my 50 gal and 100 gal pots up hoe much and how often should I top dress...when the soil hasn't been amended with it....I plan on it but in case I can't get it in time
I don't cook any of my soil, so I couldn't tell you. For the 50 gal I'd do a cup at a time. For the 100 do 2

Don't use lin seed meal. I also wouldn't go back to that feeds tore if they're advising you to so

Be careful with using seeds brotha, the only thing I use flax for is a cover crop. It has the omegas that fish has but microbes can't break them down in a tea they're protein shape is very different.

Plus, seeds will eventually release acetic acid which equals vinegar which equals death lol

Need to turn that date thingy off it's a PITA, it says minimum 1.2% sulphur

Teaming with microbes is a beautiful book and I am gonna give teaming with nutes another go, I NEED!!! to get to grips with it. My problem is that I need to be able to visualize things to be able to understand them, it's similar to when I was learning about electricity, trying to get my head around electrons jumping from one atom to another and flowing through a solid metal.....fooked my head right up.
When he (Jeff) starts describing the cell and it's component's in the first chapter I had a similar experience, but made worse because of some of the names of the different parts and functions of the cell. I'll admit, I didn't get past the 1st chapter properly, although I have browsed the rest of it.

Homie setup a simple compost pile and dump that fish shit all over it. I got a buddy that dumped a bunch of scraps after he gutted his fish out on his compost pile and he got some killer fucking compost for his trouble. That way you don't gotta worry about critters in your pots either.

Already way ahead of ya...I use to go catch chubs ..trash fish...and bury them at the bottom of my holes ...it woeks awesome..if the bears and coons don't fucking dig up your plant after the fish....hell man just catching fish and leaving them in a bucket with water while u fish and keep adding them through out the day as u catch em then go home and pour that water on ur plants ...that works pretty good....I'm thinking about making a tea outa the water from the fish next time and see what happens

Teaming with nutrients is pretty in depth. I tried reading it when I first got into organics years ago but couldn't really wrap my head around what lowenfels was talking about.

Teaming with microbes on the other hand is simple and down to the core.

I grind the flax seed into powder for teas. I only use about an 1/8th cup for teas. Think I'll not use it for top dressing. I read and heard it can be a substitute for fish emulsion for teas. I have actually planted some just to see what they look like.

I just switched to flax seeds so I haven't seen any noticeable difference yet.

I'll try to make this short and simple.

The only real value you'll get from using seeds are enzymes, That's all a seed has..it hasn't grown up and absorbed any nutrients from the soil.

BUT these enzymes are only present during the sprouting phase of the seed.
This is why I use sprouted barley, it contains a slew of enzymes. Great stuff

Oh I definitely know that @MistaRasta

I use corn and I'm about to try sprouting alfalfa for the enzymes. I've also used sprouted cannabis seeds.

The flax seed in the tea is supposed to feed the microheard like fish emulsion does. I tried it out because the fish emulsion has a very pungent smell and takes awhile to go away.

Post it up if it works out. I don't use fish stuff or anything like that anymore. Closest thing i use is crab meal

Teaming with Microbes is an awesome read! Most public libraries have a good variety of agriculture text books and the like. A lot of the science we need to know is out there, they just don't slap the title cannabis growers look here on it. But any information about annuals and container gardening you can learn will aid you greatly!
