Individual Strain PPM Requirements:

Hey folks.

Ok, so I did do a lot of reading but can't come up with this answer anywhere.

I read on this forum that I should 'double-check the ppm requirements' for a certain strain that a user had issues with.

So... My question to you is, where would I find such a resource ?

I have purchased FEM Snow White & FEM Venus from Nirvana and it doesn't say anything about PPM requirements.

Help is appreciated and any who post get REP+.

Sometimes the seed banks advertise them on there website. I've seen 1 or two that do but I can't seem to find them now.

Personally I follow the same PPM schedule for every strain pretty much, unless the plants have problems. I generally break it down into four stages.

Seedlings until 2 weeks old: 250ppm

Veg first two weeks: 500ppm

Veg last 4 weeks: 800ppm

Flowering: 1300ppm

Works for me.

Kotta's response is about the best your going to get. Not that its perfect but its what he does and it works for him. Every strain is different and even amongst the strains are different thresholds. You can google websites from, fox farms, advanced nutrients etc... and see what they are recommending. I always start my nutes at approx 300ppm and bump it up from there. I usually reach about 1200 when all is said and done and then I start backing down towards harvest. Some plants LOVE it and want more and some dont like it. I have found that 1200 starts the signs of not liking too much nutes for some plants. I have had some take 1800+ and love it. So there you have another opinion.

Thanks Fella's for the input.

Maybe we could use this venue for other growers to jump on and post their environment and say which strains can handle HIGH PPM and which one's can't ?.

Whatcha think ?

my girl wanted me to tell you..

"if you dont know what your girls like, then when youre handling business, you just gotta play around with her for a little bit to se what she's liking.. lmao"

yo, she's nuts man...

for sure bro, each strain is gonna be different . but definately go easy when theyre small and frail and check nutrient websites or flyers for nutes strengths. each brand will be different.

Up!!!
What up, cloud you share some info strain ppm?
Cant find any info. I could work it up from low ppm, but what better to have the right ppm if people know the info already.
Thanks in advanced
