Hey man... I threw mine in some damp rockwool cubes, with straight H20, in a tupperware (lid 80% closed), in a closet under some of my clothes. I think they took like 3 days or something... they germed pretty quick.
I was just wondering what method you used to germinate your seeds? Also how long did they take to pop for you?
Thanks Texan, it is truly appreciated. (please stop by my grow journal and say HI... and I give REP to anyone who says hey)

First, I would say that the NET POTS should not be directly touching the water. You should have a GAP between the bottom of the net pot and the water. There is no need to submerge them... Trust me, once the roots hit the water, they will GROW! :-)
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'can I use the lid without the plants sucking to much water out'...
I will say... YOU WANT THEM TO DRINK... AND DRINK... The trick is to get them to drink while you have a decent amount of nutes in there... That's when you know things are working.
So, say you have a 10 gallon res... you would put about 6 gallons in there... or so... it's not rocket science, and the trick is to not do too much at one time. Little by little.
The light is probably the most important thing too... CFL's in my opinion suck. They are decent for VEG'ing... (the first 4 weeks or so) but you won't get NUGS... and that's what you want. I would do 4 plants if you are sticking to one tub.

Email me more questions if you like, I'll do my best to answer.
so i would like some help it looks like ur hydro/bubbleponic system is exactly what i want to have goin on. i have a 10 gal. container im workin with and a dual output air pump going to two 5" airstones. what i need help with is the lid. can i use the lid without the plants sucking to much water out and how far should the net pot be into the water? i also have styrofoam i could use have any ideas let me know i would like two have 4 plants maybe five.
Monday or Tuesday won't be too bad, I'm just going to wait.
I am thinking about ventilation a lot and even though this closet, well bathroom, that I now took the toilet out of, is perfect... the ventilation is going to suck. So, luckily this is a 1500sq ft workshop that I can manipulate. I'm thinking of doing it directly in the center, pretty much just right in my workshop itself. Where the tools are. There's a part where it goes around a corner and there are shelves there already I would just need a top, or not even. I have to seal it off from light from 1 neighbor but other than that, not much. I'm going to work on it tomorrow.
I'm excited about finally being able to do this. Just for persona. use here, just want to have the stock and not go through all the bs of tracking it down.

I know you can get some at HD but I don't know how many lumens they put out. when I bought my shit I said naw to their lights. I got a deal from this dude on ebay. He had an interchangable mh/hps ballast with two bulbs for $219. Check ebay and see if anyone has a good deal on hid if you want some. Those little as bulbs doesn't give you the same yield. Keep in touch bro and keep me up to date on your grow. I'll post some pics on friday. It'll be four weeks! Yeahyah
Hey nasd90, i'm in south florida as well. I'm growing in a closet and I'm lucky if my temp gets down to 80 degrees. I have a 400w mh right now and it's not vented and puts out some major heat. My temp varies between 82-88 degrees in the day and i've got it going for 18 hours a day. At night it gets down to maybe 80 degrees. Take a look at my pics and let me know what you think. Maybe we can help each other out. Right now I'm noticing some orange like buildup on the tubes in the water. I've got to change the water tomorrow.
