So I've mentioned the auction site I use earlier in this thread I believe. Well, I won this behemoth of a lamp the other day for $32. 4' T5ho 8 lamps from HydroPlanet. I tell ya after I picked this thing up and unboxed it I was taken back at it's size. I mean this thing would eat up all space in a 2x4. Exactly what I plan on doing with it.
I have two extra 2x4 tents sitting in boxes. I'm erecting one for the new lamp. Finding a spot for it in my already crowded dining room will be a chore but I'll fit it in. I've been reassured that this will do a good job on autos or photos. I'm going to do a run with it and see how it goes. If all goes well I'll gift the whole setup to my kids. For now they show no interest in growing but that will prob change.

Any input on this lamp is appreciated. Damn this thing is huge....a statement I've never heard from a woman in my lifetime..lol

Big jump in growth lately. All four are in flower now. 35-29 days from breaking ground. Into the stretch we go. I'm pretty excited to see how far they reach.

The TPS Nutrients I'm using seem to be doing well with them so far. I'm following the chart but staying on the lower side of the scale. They are dosed up to 900ppm

I'm starting to get a fell for these autos and have a pretty good idea how and what I will do next time around with food. I'm not set on TPS products though. I am considering Jack's. It is much cheaper and simple dosing. I've read to many good things not to try it.


Mixed Seed 420Fastbuds

These ladies are moving right along. I tied them down early but have since released their ties. I want them to grow upwards a little so I can spread them out.

Yesterday I noticed two are in flower already at 22days. Other two not showing yet. Fed these ladies 650ppm...Signal as directed and topped up with One formula, silica, and half tbsp of Epsom salt per gal.

These mixes are gonna be fun to watch.

Okay so to start training my stoner brain I have devised a reminder....hey, your flowering..stay away till 4pm.

May look silly but I'm used to just checking the girls whenever I want to. This should stop me till I get it in my head..lol.

These ladies started dark cycle 12/23. Big deal right? Well, it kinda is to me. Something happen that I've not seen before.
One night 12/12 and I'm seeing hairs. BAM! They must have been itching to flower at some 5.5weeks old. I expected that in days not hours but I'll take it. The shit show is about to begin...we are in flower in both the autos and Feminized tents.

I'm getting hairs too at 16 days on my autos. My light is at 18/6 too.

Them autos are wild. Such an easy grow. I'll definitely be running more.

I was noticing my auto today and there are 1/4" hairs all over her.

I have 2 more seeds of this one. So one of them I'll Hermie with Colloidal Silver.

It will be down the road too. I just started my only OG Kush seed today.

The Auto should be done by the time I switch the light to a 12/12 for the Kush.

I only have the one tent.

2 liter coke bottles work great for that and watering.

Effecting only one plant of 4

Appears in the upper part of the plant. Nothing like this below and only on 3 leaves connected to one stem. All others not effected.


No leaf curl or heat related issue.

I did some reading and I think it's calcium. Cant be magnesium. I use esalt on every watering.

It was time for water so I dosed in 10ml per gallon CalMag, a little Epsom salt, 5ml gal Signal. 2.5gal total for 4 plants.

Mixed small amount of CalMag and Epsom salt for foliar spray. Turned down lamps and soaked them all. Leaving them sit till everything evaporates and then turn the lamps back up.

See what they show me tomorrow.

Gimme some feedback. You agree? Got advice?
Maybe next round add some dolomite lime to the promix to help with this. What ya think?

47 days from seed
End of week 1 12/12

Not seeing a whole lot yet but they appear ready to start the show. They woke up thirsty this evening so they got plain water.
The LA Amnesia seems to have caught up to the others. Should see double in size with the next few weeks.

Oops...I'm trying to tie down this little Mixed bag ladies main stems yesterday to spread her out and...snap! It broke but didn't detach. I taped it up with painters tape. Checked it this morning and it never missed a beat and has continued on. The growth above the damage shows no stress.

I never top a plant unless something like this happens and I can't repair. That mainstem bud will be my largest. I'd like to keep it..lol.

Rearranging the auto tent a little today. Added a small frame in-between the grows going on in there. The frame has some t5s added. This should be enough to veg my newer seedlings before hitting the larger lamps. Planning on planting every 35-40days. With three sets a month or so apart I should have a pretty steady flow of herb.

These are all in the flower stretch stage. Cruising along with 700ppm feedings that will soon go up to 900ppm. Following the TPS One formula chart for autos. Nothing else added. I'd made an error with my devil Xxl batch adding extra stuff. All One formula till the end.

42-49days since breaking ground

These have suffered some damage. I posted the issues in another site and a friend came forward with good info I've applied.
I am using TPS One and was adding extras..silica, TPS Signal. I may have overdosed phosphorus. Leading to a lockout of calcium, magnesium, and other nutrients. I've since flushed them all and got things right. Fed the correct amount and now I sit back and wait. It's been a few days and I see no new damage yet.
Anyways, all in all they are doing just fine and I expect my first indoor harvest in years.

I am pleased with the grow so far. One thing I'm not seeing is a big stretch going into flowering. At 14days I thought I'd see more but these act as if they are done with that and setting up to get fat and fill in.
When I put them in the 5gal buckets I had no choice but to damage the roots ripping them from the netpots. Unfortunate I had no choice but to do so. If ida left them in the dwc they would have surely died. I couldn't control the temps so I had to report into promix.

I do believe I'm going to get some nice bud from them but it appears they will be stunted and not much bigger than a normal large automatic.

Feeding them 1050ppm of the TPS One. Nothing else will be added. Leaf surface is 75-78°. Lamp 100% @ 18". Humidity bumps up to 60% after watering but eases back into 45% in a day. Not to concerned with that. I did a greenhouse grow with constant 95% + once. Ya just gotta keep air moving.

So what ya think? Stretch over? Looks like it to me.

Heading into the stretch on these. Harvested the oldest one. She was loaded with milky triches and I'm outta weed soooo a murder did occur. The other three are just a few days apart in age and all seem to be in different stages. One appears slower than the others. Oh well, she's filling in and should finish in a few weeks. I'll just keep checking the scope.
The one plant has a nice shade of red. At least to me it's red. Being shade blind it is hard to describe blended color.
Anyways, enjoy the pics. It's been a blast having y'all along on this ride.

Moving right along with this mystery bag of beans. All nearing the end of week 8. Mainly just putting on bud n gaining weight. I can finally see the finish line coming soon.
