Don't be scared I would buy a single water farm they are only like 50$ or build it yourself and see how it goes, it will only be 1 plant and you can continue your other plants in soil. That's how I started in hydroponics.
Again I disagree buy a bucket a net pot a 11 dollar air pump an air stone and your on your way 20 bucks tops. Garage sale if u have too

U guys forget it's simply moving water and aerating. Not rocket science. I built recirculating Dwc for under 20 bucks.

I ran into problems making a manifold for the chambers, also it sucked to get fittings to go from 1 inch to 1/4 in the tubes. General Hydro contracts these fitting and they're are hard to get a hold of.

PVC my friend. Remember your paying for design and it cox ts roughly 20k just to have one mold made

Trust me I spent nearly 5k on equipment n nutes. Then realized how easy this shit is. Now I use everything I own simply cuz I grow everything
I have as much wrapped up my in my get-up. two 30 site areoflows, 5 lighthouse blackstars 600 watt, 2 490W 8W LED Ions, and 2 340 W 8W Ions.

I know! I started looking onto the plasma's they're pretty cool. I think in a couple years when the prices come down I'm gonna try them.
Led cost so much more. U want one I'll put ypu in touch more than one gets discount. Retail 999.00 but I think they will work with ya. See I'm a personal grower but I believe in what I use so I advertise the hell out of wow.rocketplasma.com

Hey guys! I am thinking about diving into hydro. I was really interested in the water farm complete drip ring system but am kinda worried alge and fungus growing on top of the hydro ton.

Doing some research I found this system.... What do you guys think? Good one for me to start with? Should I just stick with soil? Anyone have any success with that system? Also what is some easy nutes for hydro! Thanks
