150W CMH sativa garden

So I took the effort yesterday and spent an hour trying to make some photos of this lazy malawi. Lately I was just looking at her loosing all the fan leaves. Even if I had ideas of what to change, therevwas very little I could do as it's nearly impossible to change anything at this state. Due to it's immobility. Here. check how plant is almost wiping floor. There are like 4 blocks of colas. Front one is still standing(more about it later). Left block you can see in the 1st picture,

Malawi is at day 58 into. Because I lost almost all of the fan leaves and was not seeing new pistils anymore I said fck it, I'm harvesting this plant. It's just that I was busy with all those holidays and guests and parties, I decided to do it after. I was suspecting this yellowing be related to salt build up(no way it could be lack of light) I started giving water only(last 3 waterings).
During that time plant started to fall over. more and more with every day. And yesterday I realised why. Buds were gaining mass during those 2 weeks. I was expecting to yield 1.5oz from that plant. Now I don't know what to expect. Colas became tightly packed, heavy and most importantly malawi started pushing new pistils. before plain water course it was hard to detect any.


Here's this supercropped cola that is still standing, although it has to lean on reflector. It's so heavy.. and huge, like 25cm stick filled with budsites. This is the one that was in the darkness for less than 2 days and was starting to bleach.
I wish I could take better pic, but I cannot fit camera nowhere close to it, and I cannot move the bud cause then it falls over

So I have to admit, I'm lost again. The only leaves on that plant are the ones sticking from the buds. I did a lot of tying today, so majority of buds are standing again. Probably I will try to go real easy on plant with nutes for one more week and harvest shortly after. But maybe not. according to ACE seeds, this is a 11-14week strain. and I'm a tad past 8 weeks.

C99 went mad with her 2 colas as well.. she's packing nicely, but daemn.. she's only a tad smaller than malawi clone was. I think I might just get away without supercropping her.

NL5H went down today on a hanger. Same is about to happen to malawi clone. Seeds look ready.

I guess I've said most of what I wanted. Still want to take some photo time with c99 and nevH but that can wait for now.

Sure man although you might not find anything outstanding there. Was keeping her in a shade since she did not have a smell I was looking for, so she stretched and budded quite poorly, but then something interesting happened, she got all covered in resin, leaves and all and this familiar smell appeared. And bud structure is looking like the one that made me and my friends happy. Will get you some pics tmrw, when the light will go on

Lets start with C99. It did not bud much. Due to being in the shade, she stretched like mad. She's poorly packed, but damn she's frosty..

Seeeeeeeeds...
So far I collected all of the NL5H seeds(440), NL5HxMalawi(30), MalawixNL5H(85). NL5H had bigger seeds and loads of immature ones. Malawi had very little immature seeds, but seeds in general are smaller.
I was picking pattern lacking whitish seeds(pic: top left) and cracking them. Almost all of them turned out to be dead ones so kept only brown with pattern(top right) and trashed the rest.


NevH also have problems budding, I think the soil is still too hot for her, so many dark green leafs sticking out of the bud.. Now that 3 plants got harvested, I wonder if C99 and NevH will start budding up.

The C99 is a bit airy but it looks tasty! Frosty! haha I bet you can smell it's Sweet Piney-Citrus scent wafting away in the air around it! =D I miss my C99, I've been holding on to the last bud from it for ages =P it must be around 4 months cure right now... xD Gotta smoke it up some time!
Ever vaporized C99? I just bought a FlowerMate portable vaporizer =P

Also, Simisimis, I gotta give you a round of applause on that mainlining job. Damn son, those where some real nice swollen arms on that baby. Ripped! =D

I was complaining about cindy not having smell, well in late flowering I finally got her to speak
So far C99 I had over a year ago was all hands down weed for me. Trippy, lauging, positive, creative, energetic, drawback was racing hear and munchies, but that's common between the type of weed I'm growing. However I need to find that pheno again. Further more I am reading now how fluoros make this high more colorful. I might be switching from CMH to confirm that. Most likely yield will decrease, but quality is what I'm after. I miss weed that would laugh my ass of. I am also looking to try out vape. Might just slice some cash from family budget and get one

I really enjoyed mainlining, but this time I'm gonna do things differently. Gonna mainline for 8 tops and till cut those 4 off.

Time will tell. Gonna be trying a lot of stuff this grow. Changing light schedulle etc.

BTW, finally finished seed picking malawi clone. With the branch I crossed with nl5haze I got over 900 seeds

I miss weed that makes you laugh and giggle uncontrollably =P Haven't had that in a while! My C99 wasn't such a laughing weed as you describe yours but it did have the other traits you mentioned.

What about that Malawi? Have you tried it before? have you tried some of thie batch? What is it, and what does it do? =P

This is what I'm talking about. I grew 2 C99ers, one had this insane laughing, another(that I still have) has everything except it's not that trippy, and never had this rolling on the ground laughing from it.
Malawi I only tried smoking uncured dried clone that I seed picked. I smoked because I was after my night shift and needed uninterrupted sleep, well this thing, no matter that I was after night shift, I couldn't fall asleep for an hour, it was bombarding me with funny ideas. When I finally managed to fall asleep, I continued tripping while dreaming, was funny, cause I feel that I'm sleeping, but also feeling body high and all those crazy dreams. It was experience I never had before, at that time I was a bit afraid, but now that I'm writing, it's so nice to remember
Can't wait for a cured sample! I could smoke some without curing already but still a bit afraid. Will try maybe in couple days haha. It's damn potent I'm telling ya

As for the Vape. I'm LOVING the flowermate V5.0s
Simple, clean, TASTY, clearer high and no smoke poisoning. I feel lighter when I wake up the next morning.
Quite awesome. I wonder if the tabletop vapes work way better or if it's comparable.

Anyway, I love it. High-tech smoking, lemme tell you that =P

All strains are going to be very interesting. Will be picking 1-2 female from serious casey and pollinating some branches with SC male. If I'll be lucky enough to find a female and male. 4 seeds, quite a bit chance I'd say

Are those root riot plugs?

Hey man, no, those are peat pellets.

I soak seeds for 24hours in water and drop into pellet instead of using paper towel. In case seed does not sprout I can still reuse pellet for another seed. If it sprouts I just bury it into bigger medium. And this white plastic is something I reused from cubes that I got for cloning

Well.. Wonderlands were so fast at breaking through the surface, but that was about it. 4th day. Till now stems almost did not grow. 1st nodes are also really slow..


The rest of the plants are at day 12. Leaflets are quite wide. I'm using gas light schedule for veg. When they popped through the soil they stretched up, but starting from cotyledons they all have compact internodes. Plants are forming 3rd node but also started working on 1st node side shoots.

Also I'm seeing some things that I'd rather not see. Leaves are somewhat dry'ish, wrinkled.
I'm suspecting, maybe soil is too hot? Humidity too low? CMH color?

Here's what I got.
Pineapple express. Looking ok in general. Rapid growth. Bright green color. Not that wrinkled.


One of serious caseys. 3 out of 4 look very similar. 4th is slower. You can see how wrinkled the leaves are, although it does not look like growth would be affected by that.



C99 Haze auto mutts. This one worries me a bit. It's small, wrinkled and it's green color is darker than others. But maybe it's due to genetics.

Have you ever done the Gas Lantern Schedule before? Might it not be because of the funky light tricks? =P

No man, it's most likely due to pH. I always had this problem, just as I was always watering with ~8pH tap water. After upcanning, plants get back to normal, but maybe more soil, better pH buffering. Anyway, later in flowering I again loose it. Will be trying to adjust my pH and see how it goes.
Gas Lantern Schedule from what I've seen is doing only wonders. Tighter nodes, earlier preflowers, faster response to flip. Couple of years ago saw somebody doing that on riu, now RM3 got some nice results so decided to try that as well. We'll see P

You have my attention. Do you have some links to Gas Lantern Schedule grows?

hmm, not in RIU.. On riu I remember there was a guy named puffatronic or something similar. He was going Cindy grow... but it was over a year ago. maybe 1.5

Pineapple express. This is a sweet one. I like it's smell a lot. And it's bright green color(not in the pic I took though)

Here's some update.
Day 22 of veg for Serious Caseys PE, C99H and Day 14 for WL.

WL. Both plants are very short. Are quite slow, but very cute and beautiful. Also I think plants really liked some lemon in their water.




Pineapple Express. Interesting plant. Smells very fruity. Internodes are very short and leaves are very indica like. At least comparing to the rest in the garden.




Serious Caseys. Those are raging. Here's a group shot of all of them, plus WL to compare the height.




Starting from 3rd node, internodes become more spacious.


2x SC has 9blades at node 4. Other two have 7. No sign of preflowers yet.


C99 Haze Auto. It's preflowers and all.

That's one of my favourite growth stages. Everything is slow with promise. And everything is so tiny and cute! =)

I actually really enjoy pretty much all of the stages. Except perhaps budding.. It's so slow... or maybe then I just check them more often..
So, day 28 here. 4 weeks and I decided that it's about time I flip. Not the way I hoped, but it will have to work. Today Serious Caseys and PE got topped above the 3rd node. Will be taking cuttings from 3rd node from each topped plant. So in the end plants will be having 4 tops growing out from first two nodes.

Yesterday watered them with 6-6.1pH water and I think they did not really like that, leaf edges started tu curl up. Only a tad, but it has to start somewhere, so will be adjusting to 6.5 next time.

My favourite SC.

Now SC section
They were 8-9". When I will select Eve and Adam, take cuttings from 3rd node and upcan/bury stem, this height will reduce to 3-4"(not counting new growth). Check how all SC have 1st and 2nd node close to each other.

My favourite SC has this brighter green than the rest.

Those SCs are looking almost like clones. Really difficult to see any differences. So far one is a bit more brighter green and another(biggest) have wider bigger fan leafs. If I had to guess I'd say it'll be a boy.

And looks like Scarholes C99H auto started autoing.
