150W CMH sativa garden

Wonderlands. Both turned out to be males. Selected one and will be freezing some pollen for soon to be WL girl.
He's so fast at producing flowers. today I caught one open. SC and WL males were deported to another place.

Femmed Pineapple express appeared to be male so I culled it.
Thus decided to grow 2x Serious Caseys instead. One is topped for 6 colas and another for 4.
Now here're some confusing details
4cola SC been upcanned ever since I saw first preflowers. Still has no budsites, just some preflowers there and there.

6cola SC only couple of days ago showed fem budsites. this is when I upcanned her as well.
Up untill today I barely can find preflowers on her, but budsites in those couple days went pretty big.
Interesting how a week ago upcanned plant which showed sex, did not form budsites while a plant that still does not have preflowers, got upcanned 2 days ago and is flowering.
Maybe earlier upcanned was working on spreading its roots instead of flowering. Well anyway here're the pics.

C99H auto started filling those spaces between the leaves. Going light on feeding now as it's so dark green and has so many leafs at budsites. I suspect N excess.




Well that's about it. Things are still quite slow over here, but I believe it's a soon to be busy situation..

So, today I received some extension tube for my dslr for macro shots. @Jad3, man, I'm so happy you suggested that. Payed like 20bucks. And this is ridiculously awesome. The zoom is frign ridiculous... I gave a quick try of 15shots and combined them with some image focus stacking soft I'll try to post here what I've got And way better results are possible. Dem pistils, trichs..

and some C99xHaze auto.
Short 15-18" plant with top cola and couple nugs around. Did not grow up very much, but I guess that's cause the temps were always 60-70F. :/ Summer is coming and it'll be too hot. Ahhhh..

Looks great man. I've gotta a Floralux 150 HPS. What kind of 150 are you using with your CMH bulb? Will it work with my Floralux? How can I find out. Thanks.

Hey man, I actually first ordered 150w hps ballast + lamp, dunno what brand, but later found out about having cmh better color spectrum and I just used my magnetic ballast for it. Does the job. Now those cmh are discontinued but there are other brands.
I myself actually will be switching over to t5ho though. 6x39w. Almost finished making reflector and in few weeks will be turning it on. Adding uvb and playing with other color spectres. if everything will work out as expected I'll be having some improvement in high, better control of inside temps. Probably some decrease in yield but maybe not. also planning to keep 70cmh for side lighting

Lets drop some pics again.
I need to get rid of this mylar and replace with some white sheet instead. would be nice to hang on top some unrolling black background so I could take proper pics. Because reflecting light from white background messes up with cams white balance...

It's a pity I did not bring more out of her. I still left the very bottom of it so it could finish some seeds that I'm making.

Here's whole 18" plant. 66 days from sprouting. A bit over two months and a plant is ready to be chopped. And smells soooo fruity.. love it

Caseys are 39days into. They were vegged for 27days. According to Homebrewer it should be 9-11week strain.

so I finally did it. Dedicated some budget, did some searching and ordering and then DIY stuff happened. I believe I need a new thread, because this is not 150W sativa garden any more...
When I got myself a 150W CMH lamp I already thought that I moved quite far from 2000K usual flowering color. But now being in the room feels more like in marine aquarium rather than in the garden hehe.
Here's what I've been working on. 6x39W T5HO fixture.




1x ATI actinic UVB lamp
2xOSRAM 4000K
3xATI coral plus









So basically my garden looks something like

Currently have Serious Caseys finishing and being at day 45 into. Looks like they are going to finish faster than I expected.. Did not yield very well, but I know my mistakes. Mostly timing, low temperature and late upcanning..

AHHHH! I haven't been able to grow anything in forever. SUCKS! But, in a week or two, I'll be taking my second shot on going out and finding a spot to do something outdoors. First attempt raccoon or a fox got to them. I'll probably run a C99 and the White Widow x Big Bud but the majority will be autos. So I do have a seed order to make, any suggestions on autos, Sim?

Thanks @entertainer1224 I'll post a link here to my new thread once I'll have some motivation for it. This T5HO grow should be really interesting as with the dialled in stuff I am hoping to bring out some nice outcome. this 16000-22000K color, UV lamp might.. well we'll see. This grow with adjusting ph and going lower on nutes with proper runoff I was surprised how much better leaves are looking towards the end.
Because I'm playing with regulars at the moment, I am getting those - waiting for the sex to show up probs and therefore was upcanning too late. But this time will be upcanning all to get proper root systems. Man harvests are so much better with that..

@hopeyougotadutch man, it's been ages since forever ago you wrote anything.. White Widow x Bid Bud, funny cause I got that as a freeby from Female Seeds when ordered NevH. Wan't to grow that out and self it for some more fem seeds. couple of my friends are into stony heavy smoking and they keep asking me for something stronger not like my sativa strains which for them are too disco/clear head

I harvested C99H a bit over a week ago. Already tried a sample but before going to sleep. Had some nice experience but passed out before figured some data for smoke report. Will have to smoke some on my weekend to get more detail opinion on that.

Yea I'm here then I'm gone it seems. I was working 90+ hours at one point, now it seems I'm hurting for hours. So I have time now and thought one day, what has sim been up to lately? And here I am. Going outdoors for financial reasons and where I'm at it's kind of hard to find a spot. Going out tomorrow to hunt one down, I have a few in mind. Really I only have a few options unless I go way..way out. They'll probably head out there still very young so I want to watch the weather as well.

Your plants seem to get better and better every time I come back around though man. Good work, seriously. Hopefully soon I'll be able to deliver on some nice big bushy outdoor plants without losing any or getting arrested!

Man I love how this blue light also affects my photo editing learning skills.. You make a blue picture and then you go through hell to get it as close to the natural looks as possible without loosing too much of original pic quality.

So, yesterday it was 52 days in. Will let them 1 more week, 2 tops and they're going down. Can't wait to try them.

Both plants won't be yielding much. But I guess it's normal considering the way I vegged them. Mostly blaming late upcanning. At the stage when plants were supposed to build solid root system, they were sitting root bound in tiny containers. Anyway this grow was to figure out what kjind of high they have and make some seeds, so all good.
Also have couple more seedlings running. Will retry my luck with Wonderlands and Pineapple express. Hopefully will get some girls this run
