What i was trying to say, there is no answer like "attach the screen in veg, and flower when 60% of screen is full" or "at day 5 of flower" as each set up is different then another. there are only rough guide lines.
my goal is that the productive zone\layer of buds will start at the acreen and up, so i can lollipop everything under the screen. and the screen will support the branches.
my plant are 40cm apart, so if i set the screen at 4-7 day of flower, i can still use it to pull the branches to where i want them, there is alot of grow after that to fill the screen, and all the buds will be above the screen.
If i would wait with flower until the screen is half full, there would be so much more grow after that, and the productive layer will be much higher than the screen. so i am wasting time and ther will be alot o
so i think one should aim to that target, and flower at the time he thinks the plants will end up like that
i don't top my plants at all, and only use some LST and later the screen to play with them.
i grow from clones, and i only veg for 8-15 days.
in my last grow the flower was delayed, and the plants 'escaped' up too much.
it was still good yield, and i used the screen to support the branches.
i have some pics from my old grow, it's is a good example of good screen in my opinion.
