People are trained to think "help help we need government to do something about x "

They don't realize the present government iteration is always attempting to "solve" the problems created by the previous iteration of government. It's quite a scam they've pulled on the gullible masses.

Reminds me of what happens when I ask people what their core philosophy regarding human relations is and just get a blank stare.

There are basically two answers which suffice. One is voluntary human interactions are superior to involuntary human interactions or they are not. Upon explaining that to people, most people clamber aboard to say they prefer voluntary human interactions, then within seconds, often without realizing their own contradiction, they proceed to expound on things they support which are not congruent with their own stated beliefs.

The Milgram Experiment gone large is one way to view the general populace.

I think since we are all individuals, humanity contains many faces.

In crisis, some of them will beautifully help others, while others will engage in ugly behavior.

Who me? I believe the earth is round, people landed on the moon, and the holocaust really happened. If you'd look at my post and arguments with mellowman on flat earth theory you'd see that. Definitely got me mixed up with someone else. What crazy ideas have I put out there? Point them out!

Glad you caught that. I think there are percentages. I'll have to post sources if I come across them, but a minority of people show leadership in crisis, but the majority are either sheep or make things worse. I can't blanket statement because we can see the contrast between disasters such as 9-11 and Katrina. One disaster is remembered for how people helped one another (except Starbucks), while the other was plagued by looting raping and pillaging.

OK Rob, there`s some truth I can reply to,..... Yes the Government has developed a wool pulling scam over the People.

But our rules allow us to vote them out. But for some unexplained reason, we never do.

Start with Hillary. Donald`s never been in so,........Don`t vote career politician.
