Had the same thing happen to my wife last night at a local hardware
The salesman told her they don't carry 50 packs of nitrile gloves
I told her where they were and had her show him LOL

It all depends on the quality of the employee I guess
I have bought a few appliances from Lowe's. I got a $700 dryer for like $300 with an online sale. Took the reciept to the store and picked it up. Got our washer and stove like that as well.

i have to go 30 miles up the interstate to get to a "normal" place. the whole county i live in is based on tourism, and while we have both lowes and home depot, they both kind of suck for prices compared to the stores 30 miles away in knoxville. the co-op here has some decent stuff, but not even close to everything.
I could just about throw a rock and hit where you live.

Fuck Lowe's. I use a local owned store.

Everytime I go to Lowe's I ask for something, get told they don't carry it, find it myself and then show the person and call them lazy and stupid.

I was at lowes and asked a dude for backing rod and was told he'd never heard of it. I Said it's a thing. I then said it's a gap filler for caulk. Told me to use more caulk. Smh.

I was then getting close to the area and asked a cute blonde and she took me right to it.

Same dude that hadn't a clue was walking by as I had the backing rod in my hand and the girl was on the end cap straightening things up. Stopped him to tell him this girl took me right to it without giving shitty advice. Look on that pecker heads face was priceless. Told him he could learn a thing or two from her.

She giggled, he scoffed, i won .:hump:

poor sling design...i quickly discovered that the angle of the pin on the end of the trebuchet arm, which holds the end of the rope that gets released, controls WHEN the sling is released. too far forward and it slams stuff into the ground right in front of the machine, too far back and it releases early, and your ammo goes straight up....and straight back down....luckily, i was testing with tennis balls, not cinder blocks...

not very dramatic, but change the water bottle to a 200 pound pile of fist size stones, or one 200 pound stone.....

Good idea no one wants an entire cow back firing.

Do you run plant material through the cement mixer before running it through the washing machine?
Or is it completely different stuff?

I've got lots of B grade material and will be making hash soon. Could be interesting because I have no idea what I'm doing. :dunce::eyesmoke::dunce:

Got a set of bubble bags on the way, but maybe I should do a dry sift first???

Our local hardware store goes through great effort training their staff of both sexes...
It was a little weird at first but these days I know I can just ask any of them and they will probably know what I am talking about.
